Oh, ok. Thank you for that clarification. Also, at what level will I definitely win against the red crabfish?
Do you guys buy the monthly ones? Coz weekly and the 3 day passes seem such a waste. I have 25 days left in mine anyways
I buy the monthly one, but I have never really gone without VIP at all. Since I don't play much, I just keep VIP on all the time to "even up" with other players with lots of time to grind ^^;
Hmm. Well i never even imagined that pocket summoner would become so addictive, thus i didn't even think of buying vip until lvl ... actually i dont rememeber what lvl i was when i bought vip. i think it was around lvl 28 tho.
hm, its not "additive" so to speak for me; but I like to play the game on "even grounds" if you will. When I was in college,I have lots of time, no money. So now I am working, time gets taken away, so money it will be. just a trade off xD edit:; and then ofcourse, like every MMO, there are some players who have both time and money. And this is either because they are really spoiled (usually), or their life is slowly getting taken apart due to neglect of responsibilities.
Thanks Jesse for sharing. I've passed that stage. Now facing Red Trifish and Green Trifish. Consistency isn't there for Red yet. Green is a no-chance right now. Green Magiman build isn't working for now cos of HP concern I guess. Unless I have an edge to hit it first.
I can not agree any more. Don't get me wrong, I am not bashing riida. I just think it can be handled much more efficiently.
As for me retiring, I was going to post a personal video of myself spilling my guts to the pocket summoner community, but I feel as if it may be too self centered. In 3 days, I will level to 53. I feel that is a comfortable level to stop playing.
broodling guards Okay people. I'm not sure if this has already been discovered or not, but I'm pretty sure that there is a pattern to how the 'broodling guards' mission is ordered. The order goes: earth, fire, wind, water. eg. you vs. the earth brood, then another earth brood. then another earth brood, followed by a fire brood. " ", then a wind brood " ", then a water brood. then it changes to a fire brood, followed by an earth brood. etc, etc, etc. The only downside to this is that, it takes a little concentration to keep track of the order. Also, if you lose to the first guard, the 2nd guard will move to next in line. eg. you vs. a fire brood (the 2nd battle is a wind brood), but you lose to the fire brood. you would re-battle the fire brood, beat him, and then the 2nd battle would be a water brood. Of course, this is possibly not 100%, so i would love some feedback and possibly even for some other people to test this out.
I will still be on Palringo from time to time. I am friends with both Zoot and Killswitch on Facebook. They have informed me of both the Vertex update (which I came back from hiatus to beat) and the Easter Egg quest (which I fell asleep 30minutes before it was released). I will still make videos for the community. I have received generally positive feedback on my videos, so I believe nobody wants me to stop. However, it's more fun to make a video than tap a damn screen all day long. I think all of you will agree with me on that.
jesse: haven't bother to test it enough. I mean, at my level I have no point of doing so.I think at around lvl 41-42, you won't even care much since Chicki can take it out anyways.
hey pocket summoners , just wanna deiscuss some things I noticed and see if anyone else noticed. Is it just me or does it seems like that your level affects your guards speed. i noticed when i would be fighting certain guards i.e red crab with the roroca build, at lvl 36 was near impossible with like 3% chance. I always get tripple hit after first shot and died. But i noticed at lvl 37,38,39 i seemed to be hitting more consistently and never got triplle shotted even though I did not increase my guards speed. im having same with killing red dark knight at the moment. At lvl 46 I hit him once and he would double hit me, or he would hit first and I would die after 2 shots. However at lvl 47 I'm hitting him first more often and getting double hit less even though I did not increase my rabbits speed. So? what ya all reckon? Reposted this cause no feed back, i mean common didnt anyone noticed this shiet.
I noticed that Riida made guards that you fight, have certain "buffs" that causes it to be different from a guard that's at that level. It almost seems like cheat to me. I have noticed what you said before, but very subtly. I don't know what their formula is, but I can tell you that its different from PvP formulas.
Continuing with having guards with unique properties as suggestions. As stated in previous posts, these are all passives suggestions to make guards unique and add an extra level of strategy. They are NOT balanaced atm. I left out any abilities that would be based on probabilty as the game has no such thing as evasion and aim. Dogi family Special Ability: Loyalty: Dogi's have an intense loyalty to their summoner, and will not go down without a fight. Effect: At match up, when the dogi is KO'ed, before spirit faints, attacks the opponent one last time with 50% of the attack power, using the weakest move. Dogia Family Special Ability: Saint's Howling: Dogia family have such a terrifying howl that limits the opposing spirits' resolve! Effect: As long as dogia is on the field, the opposing spirit have a 15% reduced physical attack power. Miki Family Special Ability: Underestimated: Being small and fragile, a Miki's power is usually underestimated by others when in fact he is a lot stronger than he looks! Effect: For each level difference between miki and the opposing spirit, Miki's stats (aside from HP) are increased by 2% with a cap of 12%. For example, a lvl 25 miki facing a lvl 28 spirit will have his stats boosted by 6%). Does not work on spirits lower level than Miki Mikia Family Special Ability: Hidden Potential: With each strike, Mikia adapts more and more to the opponent and are able to fully utilize his power! Effect: For each additional consecutive strike, Mikia will attack with 5% more power. Mikia's first attack will start at 90% of full power. (So second attack = 95%, third is 100%, fourth is 105%, fivth is 110%, etc) Or how about some of the higher tier spirits? Red Magiman Special Ability: Hell's flame: Magiman's fireball comes forth directly from Hell, leaving severe burns on opponents as they move. Effect: Once a fire move hits the opppositing spirit, for each attack the opposing spirit does to red magiman, he will lose 15% of red magiman's attack stats in damage. Green Magiman Special Ability: Shadow Shock: Magiman generates electricity all over the area with his area, greatly paralyising the opponent. Effect: Once an electric move hits the oppositing spirit, it reduces the spirit's speed by 50% for the remainder of the fight with the green magiman. Blue Magiman Special Ability: Dark Wind Barrier: Blue Magiman have an aura of wind protecting him from physical harm. Effect: All physical attacks to blue magiman is reduced by 20% in damage.
