Sounds fantastic! Love you made it universal (heck I would have had to wait longer for an ipod version anyway) and excited to hear it is going into testing soon! Be eager to hear about it!
wondering is this has been submitted already... since in the 1st post they mention that it would be out before christmas....
I highly doubt that it has been submitted because Josh said that they are almost ready for testing, so there is no way they would release a game before it is tested.
I'm not a huge roguelike fan myself, but I've been following the news on this game for some time now, and am very excited about it. I like some of the dual-stick shooter "action-rpg lites" in the app store, like Solomon's Keep/Boneyard, but keep wishing for something more polished with randomized dungeons and such. Hope this game plays as fun as it looks!
We just added explosive barrels (Fire, Ice and poison) which fling enemies into the air, as well as nests which spew out enemies until they are destroyed.
Testing .... Any spot available?? This looks nice and I would hate to see the same little nuisance on controls for iPad ......
I'm running 3GS with ios 3.1.3, will I need to update to 4? Thanks. Looking forward to this guys, keep it up.
PRPG will be running Game Center for achievements and leader boards so iOS 4.1 will be required to get use of these features. I am not 100% sure if not having the latest iOS will effect the ability to play the game. If I were to make a guess I would say that unless your 3GS has the latest iOS I wouldn't be surprised if PRPG just will not install since when we make the build for Apple it would be listed as a requirement. We do have provision to use the game without Game Center "on" but it would not change the fact that it would still be iOS 4.1 and up compliant. Cheers!
Forgive me if this is an ignorant question, but will PRPG be universal or iPad only? I understand that iOS 4 threw a spanner in the works regarding a potential iPhone release, but I really like the look of this one, and if I'm honest, it'll be a while yet before I can stretch to an iPad. Good luck with your impending release all the same.
