Looking awesome! Estimated release date? The ipad version is still releasing first right?

  2. After playing this build in the video, I say very soon. I mean we still have a few things to do like finish off the story elements and test some of the skills but besides that yeah it plays great.

iPad first then iPhone then Xperia.

Oh. I have an iPad so I guess that's not too bad of a news, but I would've liked it to be universal.

If only this were a universal release! I would pick it up first day I saw it in the AppStore.

Pocket RPG by Tasty Poison Games and published by Crescent Moon Games

Pocket RPG, a fast-paced dual-stick action-RPG, is coming to the iPhone soon.

Enter a world overrun by hordes of monsters. Explore trap-filled dungeons and face mighty bosses. Collect piles of treasure and items and invest in dozens of abilities and unlockable equipment. Test your skills against the oncoming darkness.

You can choose from three distinct classes, each with their own combat style.

    1. The Blade Master.
A duel wielding melee specialist. He survives by clearing swathes of enemies with each of his mighty strikes. He has devastating special moves which skillful players will be able to use to decimate their foes.

    2. The Dark Ranger.
A deadly archer who can summon waves of arrows that bounce, seek and split. Perforate your enemies with dense walls of arrowy death.

    3. The Battle Mage
A powerful, but fragile, nuker who controls the forces of fire, ethereal, ice and lightning to obliterate groups of enemies. Charge up her spells to critical levels and unleash maximum destruction.

Each quest in Pocket RPG is a new adventure. The hero starts at level zero with an empty sachel and collects items and rapidly builds their strength to dizzying proportions. Pocket RPG is not a "my numbers beat your numbers" game. Items matter and the way you use them is even more important.

    Release:
Pocket RPG for the iPad (Big Pocket Edition) is being released on the 14th of July. The release date of the iPhone and iPod version (Normal Sized Pocket Edition) will be announced soon. We will be updating this page with the information.

Pocket RPG is being developed by Tasty Poison Games, a small (but intensely passionate) South African studio and it is being published by Crescent Moon Games (who are famous for other awesome games as well as being awesome).

(also, to the noble Crex, apologies for duplicating your thread, and thank you for your support)

    Hey Josh,
I asked this in the iPad thread, but I'm not sure if you saw it.

Did Tasty Poison finalize the decision to turn the iPad version into a universal one while having a separate iPhone/iPod version? Also, I was wondering if the new iPhone version would just be released the moment it is approved, or will we have to wait until the following Thursday?

Sounds like a great game, probably an insta-buy.

I've been looking forward to this - an rpg that fits in with the quick pick-up-and-play style of gaming that iOS does so well! Any idea of the price Josh?

It was said to be .99 earlier. I would hope to see it this week or even more so that it releases when submitted.

can't remember if I ever mentioned a price or not, but it will be cheaper than the iPad version.
