Unless I'm missing something, this doesn't seem to be the case. I started the game out as Dark Ranger (due to a bug, I think - a "resume" button popped up at the start and threw me into a ranger game with no character selection - edit, this is the same bug nicoga3000 mentions on the last page), played through to the second level, and then quit. Came back, went to new game, started a Blade Master. Now if I go to resume, it returns me to my Blade Master. if I go to new game and select Dark Ranger, it tells me that I'm going to overwrite my existing game. But nothing I do seems to let me go back to that existing game. Am I missing something?
I wonder what betatesters did in this game, i just run game for the first time and checked options then pressed door icon to get to main menu and there was one more button (RESUME) (kinda at wrong place) so i though wth i didnt even started a game .. then i pressed it and it load a game with dark ranger, its like someone else played it already Perhaps on your next game more betatesters would be needed seeing all these bugs.
We only came across that Resume button showing up problem yesterday, when one of or friends played it, which was too late for the update. In the next build there will be three proper save slots. I'm busy working on it right now.
I skimmed the responses and didn't see one about this: is there going to be a universal/iphone version? Game looks/sounds very cool.
Interesting; I was missing something. I decided to make my Dark Ranger from scratch and start a new adventure, and said okay to overwriting it. Turns out that loads your existing game. Not sure what I overwrote. My Blade Master? Nothing? Glad to have my bow dude back either way!
Ok, one question ... does this game auto rotate ? No. WTF! Now the headphone jack makes it very hard to play it!!! Please somebody tell me I can rotate the screen.
Just spoke to Evan, you can do it in the menu screens. But not while in gameplay but we are gonna adjust this so you can through out.
Thanks a lot. UPDATE: it strangely rotate now but only after I tap on options and tap back to the menu. Weird! Also the resume and new quest button are on top of each other after the rotation.
I am loving the game so far! Honestly it combines few elements together in a nice and enjoyable way. I think I found a little minor bug. When I select the adventure on the world map, the last note of the music repeats as echo till the new screen loads.
Apart from the awesome gameplay I love the fact that the size is below 100mb. Unlike gamelofts 500mb games.
Is it me, or is the mage character tough to start with? I find myself having to back off of slimes so I can draw them toward me and fire away with spells. Even then, the spell recharge time can be slower than the speed of the monsters around you. Pretty challenging! --DotComCTO
