I had no idea people traded these parts. I'm level 30 and have just been selling all my rare parts the entire time. I think I still have my blimp if anyone wants it.
Hey Vic, I got Sea Knight controls and a Bobcat body, is that what you're taking? If yes, than is anything on said list for the said parts I have fine? (Pardon my nooby-ness, I'm fairly new to 'trading' in Pocket Planes, not the game itself though, halfway in level 17. ) If not just send me a PM.
If everything went right, you now have a Blimp. But try Mohawks for Lima > Easter Island. Much faster than Blimps.

And is the Blimp a good aircraft?I heard one guy said it was crappy, but if you think about it, if you compared a Kangaroo M to the blimp, weight difference is the Kangaroo is 4.0 tons whereas a blimp is 0.8...so if you can get a good flight (AKA Seattle to Boston) you would get almost all of the profit from the passengers and it wouldn't be reduced by the cost of the weight/fuel. If this is true than I'd like a blimp. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
It is true that you will get more profit per flight. However, in the time it took you to make that flight, you could've done 3-4 flights with faster planes, resulting in more profit even with the increased weight. If you can only check pocket planes once every other day, then the blimp is ideal for you.
But the increased range of a blimp may reduce the amount of hops you have to make to get from a class 3 airport to a class 1 airport. Sometimes the increased range is worth the wait imho.
I usually check Pocket Planes from every hour to every 10 hours...so it depends. I guess the Blimp isn't really recommended...but why do so many people want it? Also how good is a Huey? I've always wondered what the Huey/Sea Knight sounded like...and since Vic was selling the Sequoia, Tetra and Cyclone and Cloudliner, what would be best recommended out of those 4? Right now I've mainly concentrated myself in Europe and the US, I'm slowly moving to Central America (Guatemala) and Africa (Khartoum). I've been thinking about when I get to my next level to make my way to Japan, making an airport in India, and then a class 3 airport somewhere in China or possibly Japan. The only class 3 airport I have is London, but right now I can buy another class 3 airport, New York or somewhere different... decisions decisions. Lol
