How people have more than 65000 bux, I'll never know. I tried my hand at focusing on bux and while I don't subscribe on bux sitting, I prefer bux ferrying (Just going from city to city getting bux jobs) you will lose coins but it's petty cash when you reach a certain point in the game, I've just managed to get just over 8'000 bux.
I agree, I tried having a go at it, but I am too impatient, I'll try again once I have more plane slots than I need to progress. I'm picking up a fair amount still though, but probably more like a couple of hundred. I have class 3 airports from Tokyo - Shanghai - Delhi - Tehran - Istanbul, with paris and London working as an interchange for East/west traffic, then Chicago and New York for in/out in the us, La, with two mapples ferrying jobs to Tokyo/ Jakarta from Honolulu. It's not the most efficient setup, but with clever timing the flight from Delhi- Tokyo nets £22,000, with the mapples getting on averge 3-4,000 each run. I just about break even shifting bits from chicago to Tehran and Delhi, but the growth is steady. I pick up any bux jobs I see on the way and then deliver these with kangaroos as they almost fly for free, but it's never more than 50/60 every hour and a half.
For me what really helped was getting serious and concentrating on an event. I know it sounds some what weird but hear me out. I was part of the #TA flight crew and I ranked No 1 in the crew, which was No 1 in the world. The event was in Tiksi and whatever strategies I know, I more or less got them whilst doing this event. Essentially the event forced to think how I would get all the jobs to Shenyang so the Kangaroos can ferry the jobs to Tiksi. I eventually got the idea. I have 4 cloundliners (2 of each C/P), I keep each pair at the most distant airports (A P/C pair at Tokyo and a P/C pair at LA) and they run back and forth when full to generate some decent profit. I grab a pair made them ferry jobs throughout Asia (Wealth of Class 3 airports), I used the other planes to do that this as well but I kept it simple and manageable and before you knew it time went quick and job tally just rose. I'm sorry if thats not understandable but essentially the event got me thinking how I would place my planes for optimal performance and it gets you to think strategically. Personally I don't bux sit, as it's quite tedious plus I hate having to wait for my Cloudliners to fill up so waiting for bux will drive me up the wall. I hope that helps for any beginners and makes any experienced players think.
I'll probably do enough for the part as I'm lacking event crafts and I'm busy so I can't make a proper contribution to the flight crew
This may be a dumb question, but now the event has passed, I did enough to come in around 11 or 12, but I can't see a part in either my hangar or in the parts list. Is there something I am missing, or have I suffered a glitch in the matrix as it were.
Did anyone get anything besides C130 controls for the Detroit reward? I have 3 accounts and they all got controls this time. Is there is some pattern to which part is given out as a reward? I usually try to wait a little bit (15 minutes) between collecting rewards on different accounts (on the unsubstantiated theory that it follows the refreshing timing of "market" parts) but I have no idea if that makes a difference.
I have different iOS accounts on 3 different iOS devices, so each one has its own PP empire. I also have some on the MacOS version and I used to be able to gift items back and forth, but that seems to have stopped working with the recent update. It's great to have multiple accounts for the global events that have good rewards, but of course I need to deliver 50+ jobs separately with each account to qualify.
So, I have been Pocket Plane dormant for quite a while. Too much work filling in forms and paperwork. I still have PP installed on my Mac, but due to the inability to send parts, I've given up playing.
Wow...thank goodness for Faye or we wouldn't even finish in the top 10 for this event... Where is everyone, did folks bolt out of our crew?
I presonnaly lack time. Also I would need sthg interesting to play again, at least a full plane event with mistery parts, it. 's been forever since the last one
Another full plane (Mystery Part) event would definitely motivate me to fling more. I haven't had much time. I got sucked into Trivia Crack, a quick and easy game for those short idle moments. And more recently got sucked into playing SimCity BulldIt. I know it isn't quite like the old game I played on the PC (decades ago) and this new IOS version is kinda boring right now, grinding through building stuff to build up coins. Would you believe I actually started the Broome event on Wednesday? Bet you couldn't tell. Have not had much time on PP. I am STILL trying to fill up all my little planes in Sao Paolo and none have taken off for the long trip to Broome. I hope to start flinging them tomorrow morning, cuz I'm about to go to bed now. Yes, I realize the event ends tomorrow night. :-/ BTW the previous event was perfect for builing up Bux.
Finally! I just sent my last Kangaroo on it's 2hr 15min journey from Sao Paolo to Broome/Jakarta. You'll see me on the leaderboard soon.
I haven't played much lately, been building my Vegas tower and have finally built the last casino so gonna take a break from that. I'll see what I can do for Broome, but with only fifteen hours to go and my fleet mostly big planes doubt if get more than three or four hundred jobs. The event starting tomorrow i plan on going all out on. Two straight days off and only the Memorial Day ceremony planned I should have plenty of time.
