Yes, I tried by both Wifi and 4G. I have done many events before, and not had this problem before. I tried refreshing, logging out and in, nothing works. Very strange! Looks like someone else has the same problem as well. I am on android,but that shouldn't make a difference given that I have played for so long without these issues. Hmmmmmm....
I echo his statement, nothing is appearing, yet when I go on the leaderboard it shows people have completed jobs yet mine don't show up but blue jobs don't even appear, I play on my tablet although I have it on my phone as well as the game updates quickly on there although it also has the same problem. From what I'm gathering, it's an Android issue
Well it does appear to be an android issue then. Mind you from time to time the same thing has happened on iOS devices...
I'm having a great time today playing on my new iPhone 6 plus. PP is just as fun as I thought it would be. Any body else use this device? Any pitfalls? Syncing was the usual headache. Took me quite a while to get it to sync properly
So I've bought Chicago and because of a glitch, nothing seems to work and worst still is that their is a storm there which is just taking the P*** !

Discussion: Does having more airports, dilute your job pool ?! DISCUSS !!! I thought of asking this, so people can with all sorts of experiences can weigh in here, personally, I don't think it does, I normally have 28, now 29 as I didn't close Chicago after the event and I find it to be a good source of constant jobs.
I'm feeding Helsinki from Moscow with Mapples. What aircraft are you using? Do you need a specific type of airplane?

Welcome to your new addiction #toucharcade is a great crew and you will always win after flying the minimum jobs because they are always the winner. Nothing wrong with that, they are a great crew. For a challenge, consider joining #toucharcade1 (the difference is the 1). We have to work harder to make number 2 and sometimes we end up being number 3 but it makes the game a challenge. There is no difference in prizes because the developer saw TA always won by virtue of the huge number of players so the prize is the same for the top 10. Anyway, join TA1 and add me as a Game Center friend if you use iOS as opposed to Android, and I will send you a complete airplane that is higher than your level. Just let me know which one you want. Since you're just starting out, I'd recommend an Aeroeagle (class 2) or the Mapple (class 1). Let me know and having fun is more important that leveling quickly GC is: BJLemurcat
I've been reading the 3 years of this thread and, in the beginning when the developer was answering questions, this is what he said to someone who asked the same question as you: The job pool may seem to increase slightly as you open more cities just because the pool is created out of all cities and then the locked cities are filtered out. However unlocking more cities will also increase their weights and effecting the pool make-up. I asked the same question regarding bux sitting and was told that more airports does reduce the number of total bux jobs. When I reduced my airports from 34 to 20, it seemed like my bux jobs increased relative to the total number of jobs but since I was flying 40 airplanes into 20 cities it seemed I was waiting on the "new jobs" cycle to fill the planes. I was given great advice but it didn't match with my style of playing and the person who gave me that advice also told me that other successful players found the opposite to be true. In my case, I have rebuilt my network to include all 32 class 3 airports, Honolulu because I like those 10 bux jobs to Tokyo, plus whatever airport is for the event. I've settled on 40 slots because by time I'm 2/3rds of the way loading jobs, the "new jobs" kicks in. In my case this works, it allows me to bux sit and divert enough resources to play an event. In the Helsinki event, I'm using Sequioas to flood 66 constant jobs into Moscow and 6 Mapples to shuttle those jobs into Helsinki. I'm number 3 in the crew and that is about right for me. So, the short answer is that I think you're right. Bobby
I've had the same problem. Going back to bux sitting, I use my cyclone for bux sitting and if I keep it grounded, it'll take forever to fill up which I find to be counter intuitive so what I do (This definitely works for me) is to keep the plane moving. E.g. My cyclone lands, picks up whatever bux jobs and then moves on, dropping them off and picking more up, I also use my Tetra, Seqouia, Fogbuster for the same bux duties and honestly speaking, my bux has hit over 7'000 which I would never have imagined before. In terms of job pool, I think all class 3 airports display roughly the same amount of jobs (Unless upgraded) so logic would dictate, the more the better. I found this to be especially true when it comes to events. I just opened an airport, advertised it, then all class 3 planes would go out to certain regions and then collect jobs, due to the amount of airports, each of the planes only made like no more than 4 trips before they came back to layover or deliver the jobs, which I would say is what made me #1 in the Tiksi event. My working number is 28 and my goal is to have 28 slots (Just even it out) I've decided to only participate in part only events and even then I've now joined #TA1. I must admit to being fairly competitive so if you ever see an unknown person being No 1 of the flight crew, It may just be me ! Peace

I can only apologize ! I would love that kind of view ! I probably may consider an iOS device although my only reservation is starting from scratch again. I've built an empire which has taken me ages.
