Does flight crew still work?

Well got 16 mapples in the fleet. The other 16 are a mixed bag

 

Upon going into Flight Crew, I keep getting the message, "rank will update shortly"

This has been going on for days now.

But I admit, I havent played the game for about year.

 

Yeah someone at pp is sleeping at the wheel.

 

Is there anyway to get it back to work?

 

Occasionally they forget to program more global events. I think they must program them 10 or 20 at a time, but then they run out before they Remember to program more. Also, the update could have messed up their software. It's not you, it's nimblebit lol

 

That's a fairly accurate statement, I know the non global events have extended out to about a week if you play PP without a wifi connection.

 

I officially am quitting Pocket Planes... LOL. It's too boring not having any global events...

Trying Pocket Trains now so I don't die of boredom

 

Almost two days in, and no new global event. I'm hopeful for a reprieve, but perhaps Pocket Planes (much like Tiny Tower) has reached the end of its useful life.

 

It does not make sense that they would put out an update and then not keep up with the events. I would think these are not manually programmed anyway. Should be some kind of random generator with the occasional human intervention for special events tied to real world... I'm sure they will get it fixed...

 

I just sent en email to Nimblebit. Hopefully the issue will get addressed soon.
