Welcome! I used to have a lot of asian Class 3's bunched up together. When I had access to Aeroeagles, I expanded into Africa, then South America, then Europe. About the flight crew events, until you're about Level 30, don't worry about running huge amounts of jobs. My first "focused" event was Berlin. I used Aeroeagles (and two Pearjets just because...). For the London Concorde Ceremony I used Aeroeagles again (for some reason I didn't use Sequoias). Now, I just run a small 18 plane fleet of Cyclones and Sequoias. One Cloudliner P/C pair (just so I can do something when I'm bored). I wish I could give you some Mapples so you could work on some near events, but my gifting system still doesn't work
When his bride to be forced him to dye his hair the color of the wedding, Charles decided he needed his lawyer to sort out any further "arrangements" on the way to the ceremony.
Thanks! I saw the groom with the pink hair, and the scenario just materialized. I looked for a bux job and the businessman looked enough the part...
I lurk occasionally, and still fling those planes for almost every event. In the last 14 months I've moved across the country, started a new job (in the aerospace industry, how perfect is that?), started a doctoral program, and bought a house. That reduces my free time a bit...
Yeah same here, a newborn takes a lot of your free time away. Still lurking though, nice to see some familiar names posting here and there. Also I feel I have played PP to death, and without any real updates,I'm not enticed to play. Finally I have -a lot- of other great games I wanna try and play through. Wait, what?
Oh my gosh......I didn't notice the new planes. Thanks for the heads up. I need to spend a few days bux sitting so I can go shopping Bobby GC: BJLemurcat
looks like the drone is way better than Santa's sled. Like the design too It feels weird buying Mapple parts this cheap
New planes bringing people out of the woodwork Love the mapple being available now. The drone is cool but being a class 2 puts it in kind of a no man's land.
Oh I didn't notice that. The stats being so much better than Santa sled make more sense. It's cheap to run (weight) but who cares about coins. It's not very useful then vs an aero C :/ Edit : this is a bit silly to forget to update the global event the day you have the first content update in years!
I see that there are new planes. I quickly bought 4 Noki B6's, an X10 Mapple Pro, and a UAV. I'm currently at Level 40, which allows me to own up to 85 airports. Which Airports should I have at Level 40?
I was looking at that but I see its a class 2. So I'm thinking the profitability goes out the window if I can carry twice the payload with an Aeroeagle. If I have any money left after converting my Kangaroo fleet to a Mapple fleet, I might grab one and do a few test flights. Sure glad they added the Mapple.....I was seriously thinking of getting a MacBook so I could get a few......LOL. Bobby GC: BJLemurcat
Yeah....it's like Christmas. vicsark was saying he thought it was silly they forgot the Global event. I agree but kind of glad because I spent all my bux buying Mapples to replace my Kangeroos. Now I'm bux sitting with my Sequoias to have enough bux to move stuff around for the next event. To answer your question about airports....I guess a lot depends on what you want to do, so that means there is no right or wrong way to set up your empire. Faye Valentine has some great information in her signature. For me, what I have done is buy every class 3 airport and run 38 Sequoias with 1 Aeroeagle for my only class 2, Honolulu. I do this for 2 reasons. One, is I can quickly get to any Global Event anywhere in the world by repositioning my fleet. I just need to buy the event airport and insert either my Aeroeagles if it's a class 2 event or my Mapples if its a class 1 event. I feed the nearest class 3 airports to the event from all the other class 3 airports. At the end of the event, I sell the airport and, to quote Faye, rinse and repeat. The other reason is, if I am sitting out an event or sometimes I can do it while also doing an event, is I use all the class 3 airports and Sequoias to bux sit out of Mexico City. On a good day I can make 1,000 bux and several million coins. I do this to add to my landing slots. I have 39 slots now and think I can handle about 5 or 6 more. At that number and the time it takes the Sequoias to travel, I think I can cycle through the whole fleet and not have to wait to keep feeding events. That's just the way I do it. however you do it, just have fun Bobby GC: BJLemurcat
