Adelaide So it's finally come up. 50 Bux for Adelaide, Australia. There's only 4 people participating on TA1 and we need help! We're 10th and holding close at the moment.
Adelaide is a P event. Most of my planes are P/C. I'm too lazy to pull them out and replace with P only planes. So only half the jobs delivered to Adelaide count toward the Global Event. So far it is a nice relaxing pace for me.
Is anyone else seeing a higher than usual job count for Beijing? I've only sent seven Sea Knights so far with a total 35 jobs, but the server's reporting my job count as 56...
I have the opposite problem. I have had several planes land in Beijing, hours ago, and I still have not made it onto the leaderboard.
Haven't much bothered with planes in quite some time. Tried to cash in a bunch of Bux for coins, but ended up resetting my coins to zero. Tried Nimblebit support but no response for three days. Made it to level 72, had a little over 2 billion coins, over 70,000 Bux. I think I'll reset the game and start from scratch, just for the challenge of it all. I have a lot of stuff, going to send some to a buddy to send me back later on. Anybody looking for anything??
I've known about that "feature" for a long time (see one of the links in my sig that points to the post warning about cashing in too many Bux). I had a lapse and made the same mistake several months back. Now I've finally built back up and have 77,000 Bux. I'm at level 77. It's nice seeing some familiar old names on the leaderboard for the Beijing event. Who is the unknown #2?
In the events, do they still offer planes as rewards? Any I have looked at seem like only Bux for rewards, would hate to reset it and not be able to build up the special planes.
I reset my game this weekend! Nice to see a lot of old flyers! Keep flying TA1! I'm looking for some Mapple parts. Anyone have one? My GC is xgarriga.
The recent Naples event gave out hot air balloon parts. And the Boston event gave out a full blimp (which meant opportunities to collect mystery parts for more blimp parts during the event). After all this time, I wish they'd open up Mapples for purchase for us IOS folks. I'd buy a whole bunch if they were available in the Market.
Mapples are good, I did end up trading for a couple, had to give up a fair bit, but I ended up with them. Would take a couple more if I could get them. I have lots of hot air balloon parts, I use the sea knights, find them quite useful. Have one full concord, expensive to fly as is the starship.
The Sea Knights are awesome little planes. For a long while they were my primary class 1 Global Event planes. Somewhere along the way I switched over to Kangaroos. Not sure how that happened. Maybe I replaced them for a P-only or C-only event. And then added the other type Kangaroo when a Mixed event came up. All my Kangaroo pilots are currently enjoying an extended vacation in Dhaka right, due to all the class 3 events. I love my one C-130 and I still fly a few Sequoias. We have a big storm moving in on the west coast. Hope this doesn't affect flights to Mexico.
I have 11 C-130, went crazy looking for mystery parts. Have tons of balloon, blimp, war hawk parts, wanted lots of C-130's. The C-130s and sequoia are my go to planes, use kangaroos and sea knights for class 1 things, use areo's for class 2. I gather up passengers from Tokyo and surrounding drop them in LA use the areo's and take them on to Honolulu. Still haven't decided if I will reset or not.
Wow! You really stalked C-130 parts. I removed all of my Aeroeagles a long time ago and just use the Class 1 planes for Class 2 Global Events. I've become accustomed to how long it takes before I can move all of my Kangaroos across the globe for a new event. I don't even feel that far behind when I deliver my first job on day 2.
I don't fly my class 1's all over the world like that, I just send them to the hanger and re-commision them wherever I happen to need them. I don't buy anymore plane parts what else am I going to use all those Bux for? I complained to Nimblebit about all my money going back to zero, they said when you get a little over 2billion it does that, some flaw in the counter they won't ever fix. They sent me 500 million coins and 150,000 Bux. I wonder how many Bux you can have without that resetting? Moscow, and a passenger only event, not my usual travel route, will do what I can.
