What I was expecting - a Football Finals event in Rio, due to Sunday being the World Cup final. What I wasn't expecting - us getting a week to take 50 jobs to the Brazilian city to get a Blimp. (And since a full aeroplane is the top prize, there'll be Mystery Parts as well.)
Finally, mystery parts (and a long event in a class three to boot). Let's see if we can make this like the old days and fill up the TA1 board with 10K jobs. The mystery parts may keep me interested. Here's where I started with MP's, let's see where I finish.
Deleted this off my phone so I could get it to sync with my Mac. I guess that was the wrong move because I can't get it to sync again. The iphone keeps saying "Document Updates Pending" and so I delete it and try again. Turning this off and on, deleting this and reinstalling that. Seems way more complicated than it should. Other games make it work flawlessly. Stupid planes in my pocket.
Totally weird. One of my installs opened with a dialogue box that said syncing was taking a while and asked if I wanted to disable it. I clicked on it, and WALLA! My game was synced. Doesn't seem like the best way to present it to us. They should have made that box say "Press continue to sync." Would have saved a bunch of hassle. Back to Rio!
I did the Rio football event and had over 100 jobs completed, but I don't remember what the prize was. Anyone else do the Rio event and remember what the prizes were?
a full blimp (should be in your hangar). It was pretty neat playing again here and there, seeing TA1 familiar names in the top10 for Rio Been a long time I hadn't flung.
That's what I thought, but I still didn't have it yesterday when I checked. But after seeing your response, I checked again, and there it is! Stoked to have another blimp. Love just collecting coins/bucks sometimes while it flies. Don't know why it's so relaxing.
Good to see you back in the TA1 top ten! Shame I was so busy last week, else I would have aimed for that first 10k. Had my one Concorde, Sequoia-C and Cloudliner-M in Sao Paulo, about six Sequoia-Ms in Buenos Aires and another four in Lima with advertising turned on most times. My Concorde is suddenly my highest earner; go figure. Blimp parts before and after. Might take the time to trade some parts in the other thread to balance them out. Edit: over here.
Also, massive props to Faye for almost single-handedly keeping TA1 in the top ten during the long lull of bux-only events. I feel kinda guilty just sending ten of my Sea Knights there and back. callme_jc on iOS Game Center if you've yet to add me.
I only added 14 starships to my total...thought I would do better. Blimp parts seemed easier to come by. Love MP events the best though...keep them coming NB!
I came back after a year or two break recently. The Comic Event in San Francisco was just what I needed to get back into the game. Fighting to get number one was a real challenge but my Sea Knights pulled through. To emphasizes how long I was gone this was my first Starship event. I'm still looking for a Concorde and a C-130. It's good to be back though I'll probably pass on the current event.
