Better Hint: Kangaroos cross Atlantic if you head NORTH (Goose Bay - Nuuk - Reykjevik - London)

Today, I spent 100+ million on plane slot #49 (by accident), and finished my last event (even though I had previously stated multiple times that 15 Bux was a poor reward). Now what?

How do you accidentally buy a pone slot? That is a nice problem to have. :)
Congrats on finishing all those events; I have not made a dent on those and I suppose I should try to knock that off my list along with completing the Airpedia.
I'm really enjoying the Global Events even though the rewards are crappy. The whole Pocket Planes experience has improved ever since I upgraded to iPhone 5, it no longer feels like playing in slow motion. I used to have to wait aeons for my taps to register and I often could not make it through my planes list before the jobs refreshed.

Oh wow had a major panic this morning as my phone asked me to log into the game again and I forgot my login details, it's been a year since it last asked me. I thought I had lost my game with 20+ slots, nearly 10000 bux built up, lots of the special planes, a few of the extra events done. I was thinking of all the progress lost and having to rebuild it from scratch. But it's ok, I had a sudden brain flash and i've got it all back panic over. Now I can relax a bit and get some jobs run to Paris and try get the Concorde part that I need.

I was pulling Mapples out of the hangar and didn't read the prompt properly when it said I had reached my maximum number of plane slots. Tapped "ok" and bought slot #49 by accident!

I always thought 48 slots was perfect since it's divisible by so many numbers - especially since Sequoias, Aeroeagles, and Mapples make up the majority of my fleet.

Nice to see you again. Whew! What a relief. I get prompted to login again too, from time to time. The tougher one for me is when I need to login again here on the TA forum.

I used to think there was such a thing as too many planes; this was back when I was playing in "slow motion" on the old phone and it took longer than one job refresh to make it down my list of planes. The game is more responsive on my new iPhone. Yay! However I still don't fly all my planes. Right now I'm using 38 slots (out of 51 total) ... All are working the Paris global event except for 4 planes (2 Bux sitters and 2 Bux deliverers who just roam across the globe).

This Paris event has brought people out of the woodwork, all 10 spots on the TA1 Leaderboard are filled with familiar names. :) it's been a while; my Leaderboard for other recent global events has shown one or more blank unknown person.

Nice to be back, I kept up with the posts but didn't comment. This is one of those games that I want to complete to 100% so am sticking with it on and off. To make it worse I logged in with what I thought was my login and then it came up with the how to play details that come on when you start the game for the first time!!
I thought I was doing well in Paris initially then left it overnight and came back to find i'd dropped from 4th to 18th. Got back to 14th but the gap is too much for me to bridge to get back to the top ten I think. If I do get into the top ten then i'll be one of those unknowns as i'm on android

30 minutes left and 40 jobs between me the guy above me in 13th. Not too bothered about that, more concerned about what part I will get, I need a body to complete my Concorde but am fully expecting to get one of the other parts

Yup as I thought got my third Concorde controls so I still can't build that Concorde just yet. Anyone got a Concorde body on Android that they don't need.

Nice to see you again Lorena! This should help you fill in the blanks. IGERERA and NOKITANO are 9 & 10. I don't know who is 2.
TA1 is in 3rd place globally, trailing 2nd place by ~700 jobs.

    Edit:
Not too much changed since that picture (taken at 22min).
At 2min, I moved up to 6054 jobs; Igerera moved up to #7 with 600 jobs; #9 Jcruz with 580 jobs; #10 Nokitano with 532 jobs.

Faye, this event is all yours. With five hours left all you have to do is 500 jobs. I'm done, had a good day but spent the last three hours at the bar and now it's time to eat my steak Sammitch and go to bed.
