Believe me, you missed a lot of stuff (we even had a contest between various members using the Formula One scoring system). And then it got boring. (For example, the only time I've played since July was back in November - when we had a decent prize.) It hasn't helped that NB have been stingy with the Global Event prizes (usually bucks or a part for a crappy plane - whilst we've got two/three planes that have never had a full one for a prize - the Concorde and the C130, as well as the Mapple, which is available to anyone who doesn't play on a iPhone).
Yep, I'm bummed that they didn't take the time to make us a content update. Or just encourage playing with better rewards. It's insane they didn't even add the Mapple for iOs. It looks like they've totally forgotten PP. I guess they're a small team and were busy with Pocket trains and Nimbelquest. And PP was a bit too generous in Bux, so it must not be a very good earner for them, compared to Tiny Tower (that has gotten frequent updates). But still
I even looked in the Market yesterday to see if they have added Mapples since last year. Big difference in interest compared to the past. There are only 5 of us working Anadyr (current global event). LOL loving how the the game does not freeze up or crash like it did on my old phone. It feels like I am no longer playing the game in slow motion, not having to wait for my taps to take effect.
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and just got back into playing PP. I played it a lot back in the summer of 2012. And loved it. And then I didn't play it until a few weeks ago. And stupidily I reset the game two days ago, because Australia was boring sigh. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm also currently working on the anadyr assignment. But only slowly. Yep, the new hardwares make a significant upgrade on many games that were memory intensive. I sold my old iPad and got myself an iPad Air when visiting California, and it's like night and day I'm playing Threes! a lot right now, it's a beautiful and very addictive puzzler. Been a while since my last plane flinging. Maybe we could make a Pocket Planes virtual reunion or sthg for a specific event lol Hi and welcome to the forum

I was only in lvl 10 and I couldn't see much expanding. So I reset the game. Shouldn't have done that. But I'm in lvl 8 now. I'm still trying to figure out the game.
I think that would actually be cool, I'm in as long as we don't do it March 1st thru March 15th when I'm on vacation. I kind of miss the days of looking at the standings two hours before an event ended and decide to spend a hundred BUX to boost planes and move up a spot or two when the prize is 35 BUX.
I just recovered my old profile on PP for the mac, where I'm level 9 with some mohawks.. I scrapped and gifted two of them (1 p and 1 c) to my 'new' primary account.. I also closed down all class 1 airports and moved into asia and am now shuttling between bangkok (class 3) and hong kong (class 2).. I've got less than 10 bux and around 25k coins.. Any tips and help is appreciated.. i just took a look through most of the strategy posts, but they all seem to apply to higher levels.. Thanks in advance! There are a lot of route tips in the TA1 google spreadsheet. you'll find the link in Faye's signature or mine (under resources) It depends on where you start at the beginning also
They're just publishing it, it's made by Matt Rix (trainyard) and Owen Goss. My bet is Disco Zoo will come out very soon according to their tweets, beta testing seems almost finished. It looks neat, but I'm not sure it's my cup of tea. Will try it nonetheless

What a terrible event. Christchurch for a P40 Warhawk part I have like 20 full P40 planes from a previous event. Why don't they start offering 200 Bux for the winner and full planes like Sequoias or Cloudliners?
Noticed some old heads posting again, so thought id say hello Not playing iOS games anymore, went back to PC gaming. But i do miss PP and wish that nimble would have supported it more
