No more Concordes? Help! I've been playing PP off and on for a couple of years now...and still have yet to score a Concorde. I've got an engine and that's it. What's the thinking? Any hope there will be another event within the next 12 months? I mean, it's getting ridiculous. If anyone is wiling to trade or gift for the parts I need (i.e., controls and body) I'd be much obliged. Would trade a Starship, Sea Knight or any other non-rare plane. Also have a wide selection of other parts (Balloon, Starship, C-130, Bobcat, P-40). Would give them all away for a Concorde or for the parts I need. Thanks! EDITED TO ADD: Thanks to the great generosity of PocketDaddy45 D) I now have a Concorde body. All I need are the controls, and I'm good to go. Anyone who can assist with this will have my undying gratitude. Seriously.
I see this morning that there is a new Global event (Chem Spill in Bogata) that ends Weds at 8pm (UTC). It wasn't there last night before I went to bed. Oh well... time to jump in.
That was a weird event blip. I actually had to do something else with my free time. What a bizarre concept. Currently in house-packing mode as we prepare to move from one blue city to another. Maybe I should ask NimbleBit to make that a global event. I could use the help with cargo deliveries!
W00t - new event, and everybody who takes 50 jobs to Boston to celebrate Thanksiving gets a Blimp. Which means that I'm playing for the first time since July. And needing to move a lot of planes out of Los Angeles.
I guess I'll finally have enough blimps to replace my entire fleet after this event. Not that I'd want to do that, though. I think I'll spare you guys from a blimp apocalypse.
Yes - I've seen two (one last night, one heading to Boston as I type). Edit - So *this* is what being in the Top 5 feels like.
I gave up flinging planes to Boston around 5am, when I realised I'd never regain the top spot I'd held for at least a day. Coming first didn't matter to me as much as helping #TA1 into second place, and neither of those goals mattered in the face of expanding my fleet of spare blimps from 3 to 19. Not putting nearly as much effort into collecting Huey parts for Jerusalem.
I have an Aeroeagle-M in my fleet with the same exact colors EDIT: Found an old pic of when it first reached 1M miles
Well, that was unusual - I finished 6th in that event, somewhere I've never been before. (Although I doubt I would have finished that high had I not been signed off work due to a broken leg [as a hairdresser, I spend most of my working day on my feet].) I'm not putting any effort in at all - I've got two Hueys in my hanger (one from this event last year) that have never seen the light of day, so this one wouldn't be either. I just hope that I don't have to wait until April (I last sent planes out in July before the Boston event) for the next vaguely decent prize. (Maybe another Kringle Kruiser event in Chicago later this month?)
