Been very busy this week, Halloween events and other stuff. Three trick or treaters stopped by my house dressed as Minecraft characters. I finally got around to launching Pocket Planes this afternoon and first thing that pops up is the results for the last event. LOL. I totally forgot that we were getting a Starship part. Is it too late to join the party in Cape Town? Only 24 hours left on the event. It's midnight, so I'll go buy the city, pick up whatever jobs I can, and go to bed. Don't know how much I'll be able to fling tomorrow ... only 72 jobs to enter the Top 10 at the moment. I can probably manage that. There was a Pocket Trains update? I'm not very good about updating my apps. However, hubby has prompted me a handful of times to update his Dragonvale app. Nice! I haven't looked at the Airpedia in months. I kinda gave up on it after it unchecked the planes I used to have but then later gave away and now no longer own. Yes! Yes! Yes! I'd like that too. I can't buy Mapples on my iPhone.
Holy moly! How many planes have you got there? I started the event yesterday with just 3 planes. Then added 2 more today.
Nice job all. I think I'll be sitting DC out. Might do enough to get the reward but not much else. Never liked the passenger or cargo only events much.
I have a question about permanent layovers I have a couple of layovers in one of my big cities but their destinations are to airports i closed down... Will those layovers stay there forever? Do I seriously need to reopen the airports to get rid of the layovers?
Well I've added 10k+ in bucks since the 22nd. Sad thing is I didn't play for around 3-4 days. I need a life. I'm holding out for a few hundred more. I should get that tonight easily. Going to cash in 25k worth. Should bring me up to 40 planes. With 1k bucks left over for upgrades.
I play a lot. But here is my strategy. I'm running 15 class 3 air ports at the moment. I'll break them down by location Honolulu. LA, Mexico City, Chicago, NY (1 aeroeagle running bux jobs to Honolulu) Rio and San Paulo. (2 roo's doing layovers between each other) London and Paris. (2 roo's doing layovers between each other) Tehran. Middle point between east and west. Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo. (3 aeroeagles doing layovers in a circle Shang to Seoul, Seoul to Tokyo, Tokyo to Shang). I still have Lagos and Kinshasa open for an extra hub trading a few Bux layovers. Layovers are key. The triple hub of Shang, soeul and Tokyo generate the big Bux jobs to LA, mex city, Chicago, Ny and Honolulu. And good Bux jobs to the middle Hubs. The middle hubs create good job to both east and west. Keep doing layovers and picking them up for drop offs.
