LOL - shouldn't be too hard - last I looked there were only 4 of us on the leader board. Everyone is too busy with their Carbon Steamers and worrying about where to expand their new trains empires next. So miss the social aspect in-game for PT.
That's true, in case you haven't noticed, me and my daylights are chugging away... I might find some time to take my fleet of sequoia's to 5th.
Wow there are only 14 TA1 members participating in the latest global event in Tehran. I'm in 10th place with 22 jobs.
Does anyone have a spare mapple or two that they could send me please? Your kindness will be repaid once I'm able to participate in events and earn rare parts! GC is flysh24 Thank you very much
MOFO After Anadry Cries were heard throughout the land as Nimblebit in their infinite wisdom made TA1 pilots move their planes from one end to the other of a flat-world map. How cruel to put two events back-to-back that are in reality so close yet in the Nimbles-sphere, or really the Nimble flatlands are oh so far apart. Announcements that this would be the last full event before the new train station opened was sure to bring out a slew of pilots. Although the long distance and lengthy round trips meant that only experienced pilots would be able to keep up. A buzz could be heard as many a Sea Knight headed off to Anadyr. Soon the skies were filled with the happy tune as many found their rhythm. 'Zoo had set a brisk pace and was well in the lead. Fearless Faye made a major leap, delivering 1,300 jobs in just 11 hours! Faye must have decided to give it a good effort, since this would be the last plane event before the new trains started running. 'Zoo kept her eye on Faye's advancement. The girls went head-to-head frantically clicking and BUX boosting managing to deliver between 400-500 jobs in a 1.5 hour time span! In the end, 'Zoo took first and Faye second. A returning pilot, MDaymond, put up a fight for third. Ktc took on this challenge and held Mighty MD off landing Ktc on the podium. The Whirling Winds tried to keep up yet Zekeamf, TDizzle and Mildly Annoyed held him at bay. The Sea Faring Cat and Slippery One of the Ice finished out the playing field. The final results for Anadry were: 1. Nalazoo 4,457 2. Faye 4,368 3. Ktc 2,366 4. MDaymond 2,033 5. Zekeamf 1,629 6. TDizzle 1,224 7. MildyAnnoyed 1,200 8. MindTornado 1,199 9. Coastcat 1,127 10. SuperPenguin 1,096 This was the 4th race of Silver Yoke 11. There's been some movement as Faye climbs back from 4th into 2nd. Seems this Fabulous Flinger isn't going to slink quietly into the night. Sherrif Vic falls victim to Faye's advances and the steady performance of the Wily Whirler. Ktc makes a big jump, hopping over the Great Swarm Master, Gus. TDizzle also advances leaving KellyPad behind. Zekeamf and Jmac are playing leap frog. The current Silver Yoke 11 cup standings: 1. Nalazoo 100 (1, 75) 2. Faye 46 (4, 28) 3. MindTornado 41 (3, 37) 4. Vic 39 (2, 39) 5. Ktc 33 (7, 18) 6. Gus 28 (5, 28) 7. TDizzle 26 (8, 18) 8. KellyPad 23 (6, 23) 9. Zekeamf 18 (10, 8) 10. Jmac 8 (9, 8) That brings us to the Golden Sequoia 4, where 'Zoo continues to advance. The Bustling Breeze needs to gain speed and eliminate wind shear if he's going to catch up. Jmac sits comfortably in third with Ktc eyeing a position on the podium. 1. Nalazoo 199 (1, 174) 2. MindTornado 152 (2, 148) 3. Jmac 129 (3, 129) 4. Ktc 102 (5, 87) 5. Harmoniamundi 89 (4, 89) 6. Faye 74 (8, 56) 7. KellyPad 68 (6, 68) 8. Gus 65 (7, 65) 9. Vic 39 (9, 39) 10. Scaramanga 29 (10, 29) And the saga of the Concorde Cup continues. Faye continues to maintain the lead. Although 'Zoo puts up points, Faye continues to gain as well making it hard for 'Zoo to close the gap. Gus's reign in second is a distant memory. Pilots in the distance see the opportunity to make up ground and unseat the Great Swarm Master. The Whirling Wnds and Ktc are advancing quickly. SuperPenguin has been off testing out the new trains and fell to Ktc's advances. There's no movement in the rest of the field. The Concorde Cup's current standings: 1. Faye 815 (1, 797) 2. Nalazoo 779 (2, 754) 3. Gus 698 (3, 698) 4. MindTornado 452 (4, 448) 5. Ktc 432 (6, 417) 6. SuperPenguin 423 (5, 422) 7. Ump 377 (7, 377) 8. SlightlyNorth 367 (8, 367) 9. Jmac 350 (9, 350) 10. Vic 337 (10, 337) Where will the future take us? Great new adventures lie ahead with the opening of new train stations. A train celebration in Munich is already underway! Cheers! M'Z
I am number 2 on the list, I do not think it shows who is on it unless they are on your friends list and it should say Rabban Harkonin for me instead of Kubla
And I am not going to do as we'll on this one because I blew all my Bux buying cargo only planes for the last event so well over half my class 3 planes are cargo only. Now I have to build up more to get M's and P's
Nice write up for Anadyr. The last hurrah. We're all busy with Pocket Trains now and it shows with Tehran's 306 job entry into the Top 10 for a Class 3 event. The entry point would have been astronomically higher back in its heyday.
I'll be really curious to see trains longevity, no online competition = no long term replayability IMHO. I'm not sure people would have played PP this long had there not been competition. Who knows though! Maybe I'm wrong
While I like the trains, there are many things that I miss that we have in PP - leader board & competition. I find myself bouncing back and forth between PP and PT.
I feel like I'm going to scrap about half of my rail network because it's getting too complicated and I don't really have the engines to run the long distances I'm creating in Asia. I think it's a great game but it requires more thinking.
I got 18 railroad lines (!) and it requires a LOT of thought and planning to not have a layover hellfest! I like it a lot, but I could play PP while listening to a podcast or watching a tv show. PT is way more needy. Sometimes completing the daily event of 50 outgoing jobs in the middle of nowhere is harder than doing 1500 jobs for a PP event!
Agreed! I now have 10 lines. Working on expanding...need to clean up a bunch of layovers. Began by moving high paying coin jobs to have coins for expansion...BUX way better.
