Just got a orange/golden job labelled "MYSTERY PART" to transport to Brisbane for the team event (instead of the standard blue jobs). What does that mean?
Events? Hey everyone I just started 2 days ago and I am level 9 now, I happend to have started in Australia so I saw the event and looked online for a crew, first one I saw was polygon so for this event I am with them,(currently in 2nd place to you guys) I have done 250 jobs for this event and I intend to expand to where ever the next event begins. If you can answer my question I will join touch arcade crew. Obviously I understand what the main event is but what about the smaller ones? I understand the thunderstorms etc blocking you out of citys but what about the events like chef competition in Sydney and the others like that wha do they do?
Hello everyone, I am a huge Pocket Planes newbie (level 9). I was wondering if you could give me some tips for expanding my airlines. Also, if anyone could gift me a Pearjet-M or Aeroeagle-M part then that would be greatly appreciated. I have 144 bux and I can send you anything that my level restrictions will allow. Gamecenter account is Argaraffe.
Changed 6 of my 9 planes to Birchcrafts and only left large cities. Chicago, NY, Phoenix, Houston, Mexico city, Lima, Recife, Lagos and Rio de Janeiro. So far so good and I some flights are now longer so the planes don't spend that much time idling.
I could have some details of this a bit off, but here's what I've gleaned so far: - when one of these individual events is in progress, and you own the airport where it is taking place, you will get numerous jobs related to the event just like with the "main" event. They won't be a different color, but they'll be obvious by their dress or appearance (Elvises & guitars, chefs & knives, scuba divers & scuba gear, etc.). - each one of these jobs that you deliver ticks your count (usually out of 1000) up by one. However, you don't need to complete the full 1000 jobs before the event ends, as it will keep track of your progress and you can re-start delivering scuba divers or Elvises the next time the event shows up in one of your cities. Or you can chase the events around the globe, buying the cities where they re-appear . . . - when you get to the 1000 mark (or whatever the target is), presumably you win some kind of prize and/or unlock an achievement. Not sure if anyone's done that yet, though, because I haven't seen any posts about it in here.
Someone a few pages back actually completed 1000 flights, only to report that he didn't receive anything as a prize..
I've just sold all my airports in Europe (1 class 2, around 5 class 1) And now I'm moving to New York, Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles. There's 3 class 3 and 1 class 1. Is it a good move?
I think its a trade off between length of the flight versus the time spent flying. Sell your European airports means your not going to get passengers paying more than 800 a flight. But you can complete more of them in less amount of time. It all comes down to playstyle, do you like to sit and watch flights come in? Or do you set up all your flights and then come back an hour later?
if your settling in on america your going to want to branch out in to south america at some point. i currently own los angeles, chicago, new york, mexico city, lima, rio de janero and buenos aires. all c3 airports. my fleet is made up of mohawk's with max upgrades and pearjets/equinox's with max weight upgrade. ive made enough coin from this to buy three c3 airports in the last 12hrs.
Argh, I still can't find war hawk controls! If we win the event, do we get a war hawk automatically? There's only a few hours left and I have to go to my summer job soon...
