    *faints*

It'll be interesting to see if that number can be reached in the next event - a Class 1 city - too far away from Moscow (the nearest Class 3 city) without needing to open Perm to act as a waypoint).

I took top 10 screenshots one hour before the end if needed.

    @Mindtornado : Congrats , impressive new record!

So, it's been like forever since the last full plane event :(
Come on NimbleBit, add some easy fun to the game.

I guess the only update we'll ever see will be Pocket Trains, dammit.

In the upcoming section on this forum. The beta was finished and the game will be submitted to apple soon, if it wasn't yet.

So Ulan Bator is closed. No biggie. It's the only way I can get 48 of my 52 planes to Novosibirsk...

I'm also a TA1 plane flinger (only lvl 13 with 3 cities and 4 'Roos so I haven't done any non-NA events) that was in PT beta. Eeenmachine posted in the PT thread a few weeks ago mentioning that they had some beta slots and to drop him your email for a shot. The game has since been submitted to Apple, so hopefully we'll be flinging trains soon!

WTB 3 levels fast so I can buy a bunch of Aeroeagles and expand overseas! :D

40K is very impressive, congrats 'Tornado.

I can't get much motivation for flinging planes right now, but I am getting excited about PocketTrains!

    Cheers mate,

I was lucky enough to get a beta spot while monitoring the PT thread. The game takes a little to get used to. The map is basically the same but there aren't class 1,2,3 levels, and you can basically make any city your hub for layovers. Lot of fun to be had, but I'm not sure how global team events might work.

    Hey Train
    ;)
Dammit, I guess I should wander more in TA forums, and not only go to my "suscribed threads" in the app.
I didn't even notice there was a PT thread in upcoming lol
Oh well, it should come out soon enough :D

MOFO after Miami & Goose Bay

There's a party going on in Miami, at least that's the word that went out to many college students. The TA1 flight crew quickly shifted gears, and shuffled planes to boogie on over from the Oceania reaches to the North America. College students from all over the world flew in on sleek Aeroeagles and drank gallons and gallons of Root Beer.

Pilots that have been around for a while are now enjoying a view at the top as veteran pilots are watching for any news of the new railway system opening. Harmoniamundi flew to the top and delivered 4,556 students and kegs while holding Juliomorales at bay with 4,119. JMAC who is making a run for the 10th Silver Yoke joined them on the podium with 3,777.

KellyPad was a far flung fourth with 2,270. The rest of the field was content with less than 2k jobs. A few unknowns joined the top. Rememberer Boyz and Girlz, to be recognized in the M S&H, you need to get your mug shot (taking at Penguin's Saloon) and be registered in the SUCK.

    Miami's finish:
    1. Harmoniamundi 4,556
    2. Juliomorales 4,119
    3. JMAC 3,777
    4. KellyPad 2,279
    5. Nalazoo 1,553
    6. Coastcat 1,224
    7. Ktc24 1,180
    8. Clint981 954
    9. ?
    10. ?

Let's take a look at how things were shaping up for the 10th Silver Yoke and 4th Golden Sequoia...cause it's starting to get interesting!

'Zoo has the lead by the skin of her teeth and JMAC is hot in her tail, though he better not let our trusty reporter, Shep, know. Harmoniamundi makes a major leap from 8th to 3rd, a spot that has other contenders with MindTornado and Ktc who are not far behind in 4th and 5th respectively. KellyPad leapfrogs many one-time appearances jumping from 10th to 6th.

A note from the Minister of Mathematical Mysteries reveals that this is the 17th yime in a row that 'Zoo has been in the top 10. KellyPad has achieved a new personal best finish in TA1. Juliomorales makes a first time appearance in the Top 10. For all those worrywarts out there, this is proof that TA1-vile is still kicking and thriving!

Here are the SY10 and GS4 standings after Miami...
    1. Nalazoo 79 (1, 69)
    2. JMAC 75 (2, 60)
    3. Harmoniamundi 50 (8, 25)
    4. MindTornado 49 (3, 47)
    5. Ktc 46 (4, 40)
    6. KellyPad 29 (10, 14)
    7. BumActor 27 (5, 27)
    8. Xgarriga 25 (7, 25)
    9. Scaramanga 25 (8, 25)
    10. Juliomorales 18 (n/a, 0)

Faye still reigns, 'Zoo has now edged out Gus. But wait! There's more with the conclusion of the next races...so, here were the Concorde standings after Miami:
    1. Faye 753 (1, 753)
    2. Nalazoo 659 (2, 649)
    3. Gus 634 (3, 634)
    4. SuperPenguin 420 (4, 420)
    5. Ump 377 (5, 377)
    6. Ktc 376 (6, 370)
    7. North 367 (7, 367)
    8. MindTornado 349 (8, 347)
    9. Vic 298 (9, 298)
    10. NKT 287 (10, 287)

Let's move on to what happened with Goose Bay.

Ho-hums were heard when Goose Bay held a Film Shoot. After the lively college party, pilots weren't keen on heading to the far-flung reaches of Canada. A little town where only little planes can land.

JMAC saw this as an opportunity to make up ground on 'Zoo, who was off getting ready for a vacation. JMAC spoiled the actors and actresses and took great care with the camera equipment scoring him a very respectable 2,714 jobs delivered and first place on the podium.

Gus, the mighty swarm master, dusted off his planes and sent them a-flying. Maybe the fear of losing second place has awakened this seasoned veteran and brought him out of semi-retirement. Good to know that Gus will keep us on our toes. Gus and Ktc fought it out for second, with Gus just squeeking by with a score of 18 more - that's just a handful of planes difference!

The Wily Whirler and Clint battled it out with a strong wind giving the Wily Whirler the upper hand. KellyPad made another decent showing, proving her appearance on the leader board was not a fluke. Harmoniamundi, Coastcat, 'Zoo and SDO finished out the field.

Faye was noticeably absent in the Top 10. This veteran pilot is keeping her eye on the numbers and making sure the Concorde cup is hers to keep. As long as she doesn'ypt get too complacent or Boyz and Girlz will we have a great race at the finish.

The final results for Goose Bay looked like this:
    1. JMAC 2,714
    2. Gus 2,094
    3. Ktc24 2,076
    4. MindTornado 1,762
    5. Clint981 1,712
    6. KellyPad 1,500
    7. Harmoniamundi 1,411
    8. Coastcat 1,348
    9. Nalazoo 1,289
    10. SDO62 1,275

These results cause a shake up in the 10th Silver Yoke and 4th Golden Sequoia standings. JMAC has now taken the lead, and a big lead it is. 'Zoo may find herself holding the silver Silver Yoke cup is she vacations too long.

There's another battle brewing for the prestigious third place finish. Who will it be? MindTornado, Ktc and Harmoniamundi are all in the mix. We need our Minister if Mathematical Mysteries to let us know how many more races we have in the 10th Silver Yoke race. For now, here's where it stands:

    1. JMAC 100 (2, 75)
    2. Nalazoo 81 (1, 79)
    3. MindTornado 61 (4, 49)
    4. Ktc 61 (5, 46)
    5. Harmoniamundi 56 (3, 50)
    6. KellyPad 37 (6, 29)
    7. BumActor 27 (7, 27)
    8. Xgarriga 25 (8, 25)
    9. Scaramanga 25 (9, 25)
    10. Gus 19 (n/a, 1)

And the Concorde Cup, well underway, has a few points here and there. Gus makes a move, trying to regain his second place. The points are tightening at the top. Ktc unseats Ump and JMAC breaks into the top 10, unseating Sherrif Vic. Watch this space for all the news!

    1. Faye 753 (1, 753)
    2. Nalazoo 661 (2, 659)
    3. Gus 652 (3, 634)
    4. SuperPenguin 420 (4, 420)
    5. Ktc 391 (6, 376)
    6. Ump 377 (5, 377)
    7. North 367 (7, 367)
    8. MindTornado 361 (8, 349)
    9. JMAC 321 (11, 295)
    10. Vic 298 (9, 298)

    Cheers!
    M'Z

Thank you. Happy Sherrif Vic gave us the photo to hang in the M S&H office, it's inspirational and reminds us of how this all started.

Have been flinging planes for over a year in TA, but seems like TA1 is the way to go. Like the competition. Am at lvl 42 w/ 24 slots.
