Our little community is bustling again and even our neighbors from TA-town have come to visit. They may even find their way into the Toucharcade1 flight crew where we have a fully populated leader board, internal contests and our very own SuperPenguin's Saloon. Our flight crew has certainly been making it's way around the world, finding itself in Sapporo, a Class 1 city with many Class 3 cities nearby. BumActor played it cool and calm, holding back until 'Zoo fell victim to the clock and other activities. Then, like a spy, he slipped into the lead and held it for the victory. The Wily Whirler held off those pursuing him and spun his way onto the podium. Bringing up the rear, Gus, the Blimp Boss. Gus delivered an impressive 617 jobs using ONLY blimps! (S)he plays on a Mac - there's never been a Mapple event. Anybody with one had to do one of these three: 1 - Play on a Mac, bought the parts and sent it to their handheld PP game. 2 - Traded for them. 3 - Get it as a present from Nimblebit themselves during the second half of December last year.
Yep. I got two thru a trade and that's it. Doubt I will get any more. Just hope that when PT comes out Nimblebit doesn't discriminate against those of us without a Mac by having an engine that we can't get.
What planes would you like? I have spares of everything except Mapples, Concordes, and Sea Knights I think. Got to get TA1 members participating in every event...
actually doing good with the planes I have, including the sequoia you gave me, just did not have the cash or the empty airport slots to do easter island, still have not figured out how to do the class one to class 2 changeover, I assume you have to close most of your class one airports to get more class 2 jobs just everyone seems to love Mapples and I can see why form the specs
Initially you'll find you're using Class 1 planes at both Class 1 and Class 2 events. Eventually you'll get to the point where you can move planes into,the hangar and bring out others depending on the event. This will require a stock of BUX...which is why you'll see so many people talk about BUX sitting early on. BUX exchanges help move you forward.
Thank you JMAC! I could not get the leader board to populate with names and by the time my Game Center got linked...I got the dreaded "Rank will update shortly" message. Why, oh why can't NimbleBit let us see the leader board for the previous event? Sent them a message regarding this and hope they'll take it into account for Pocket Trains. Thanks again!
Neither do I. Makes me wonder does NimbleBit do this manually? Like really? In this day and age, these things should be automated to flip to the new event. Where' our trusty Sherrif? He'll get this fixed
New event: ??? in ???, with ??? as a prize. Just a thought: the last time this happened, the prize was a full rare plane and you only needed to do five jobs to qualify for the prize.
