Search and Rescue in Nome with prize being a Huey part plus 10 bux. I need one huey part to complete the one I have in my parts list, whos betting if I complete the event I get a duplicate of one of the other two
Nome is also part of an Achievement (longest flight, Nome to Wellington) if anyone's interested in that.
Los Angeles/Seattle -> Anchorage -> Nome and back with Kangaroos that have had their range upgraded thrice. (Starbucksville is too small to take Class 3 planes, hence having Los Angeles there.)
I'm not sure, most of TA players have games started in North America, so even lower level players have planes there. And although Nome is farther from LA than Norilsk was from Moscow, there are a lot of airports to hop on for Roos, it doesn't feel as lost in the middle of nowhere I guess. I opened Juneau, one hop from LA and one to Nome for range upgraded Mapples.
