It just gives the impression that "I can't beat him if he is flying so I'm gonna make him think I'm not and then sneak up on him." Not saying anything bad about anyone or anything... Just saying what impression I get from it.
I have a little brainbreaker here, i am lv. 17 wich planes are the best for my level (i am about 1 each 2hrs on the game) My planeset now: 2 pearjets 1 aeroeagle 3 equinox 1 mapple pro 1 kangaroo 1 birchcraft 1 mohawk 1 airvan (All plane slots are full now)
I know you aren't saying anything about anyone but damn SP you are sure sounding more like a socialist liberal than the conservative capitalist we all love! I mean wtf dood? Do you really want all of us to play the exact same way in the event of fairness, or should we each have our own strategies and may the best man/woman win? Call me crazy, but it sounds like you are going soft on us. Do you want a umbrella in the"Shirley Temple"I'm about to pass you? Here this whole time I thought you were the bourbon straight, or crown drinker.
Question for all: Do you think you will keep playing PP once PT is released? I will probably play half and half unless PT is a much better game.
First off what is PT? Second do i need to keep belfast open while the world event is ongoing after i delivered 50 jobs and still get my prize? (Sorry for this question-load, i knew only the basics of PP)
I'll probably switch to PT mostly. Especially since Merlion seems to have left us. The mofo's are the only thing keeping me. PT is Pocket Trains. No you can close it once you've done the 50.
I think it will be fun to start on PT's all together. I hope the text font isn't too small on the iPhone, the recent photos make me think it might be something I'll have to play on iPad, which limits ability to play when I'm out & about & waiting...where PPs can be done easily anywhere. Will have to wait & see.
About Pocket Trains, I mostly hope they come with better teamwork and crew challenges, as that's what the most fun longer term. I'm not worried about the Pocket Trains single player, I'm sure it will be great, polished, and well balanced as always. But there is a sort of a conundrum with how to make teams work together and not having the insta "everybody googles PP crews and joins #1 crew and don't give a sh.t and the competition is ruined". PP crews were a good idea, but the implementation was awkward as we've seen. Good for us we did organize our own challenges/leaderboards with TA1. NImbleQuest had some good ideas in it (limiting the rewards to the XX highest scorers), public crew names... But there wasn't any interest in staying in a guild. I dunno how other addictive games with crews work like League of Legends or Clash or clans but I bet there are some good ideas to use. Btw, what do you guys think would have been the ideal game architecture of crews in Pocket Planes?
You will have a second Aeroeagle shortly, I thought I had two spare but I only had one full one, just waiting for a part to drop into the market then i'll send it. Out of those planes I would concentrate on getting Kangaroo's, Mapples and Aeroeagles. They are the best planes for profit in the game for your level, the next plane up to get is Sequoia's at level 22, I would pass these on but they are all in use at the minute.
Thanks, i will change the plane roster as soon as my bux allows it although both aeroeagles are flying and running at 3000-4000 profit/hrs
I was thinking of asking the same thing. I will prolly switch to PT if that's where most of TA1 goes and it's a good game. Right now I only do about half the events and even then only go for a top ten, instead of trying to win (even tho I seldom do win). If it wasn't for Merlion, TA1, and the MOFO'S I would have most likely quit this game allready. Between stuff to do during the summer and finally being able to bid a day shift job after 26 years working nights I find myself with less and less time for games.
What verb would we use in Pocket Trains? We fling planes in Pocket Planes. Not sure it sounds right to say we "fling" trains. I imagine PT will be another game that is perfect of filling in idle time while out and about, like while waiting at the checkout stand behind all the other slowpokes. I can only play Mafia Wars (my primary game) while I'm home and have access to the computer. This presents a challenge when I'm at home and try to divide my time between MW and PP. MW usually wins. BTW... Today is National Ice Cream Day. Just saying. Gonna surprise the Little One in a bit when we go out for some ice cream.
"Rolling" trains? BTW, I'm totally dumping PP for PT, unless it sucks, which I'm sure it won't. The effort Dave is making in polishing the pixels is awesome, and it looks super fun. Who has time for two such games simultaneously?
Yeah I bet I end up dumping PP too. PT looks amazing. I would have a while back were it not for the mofo's.
