This Bergen event is tough ... Worked hard yesterday to reach #4, only to wake up this morning at #7. Who is #1? Yitz? You and Gus should go outside and enjoy the sun ... Maybe take a LONG nap in a hammock by the beach after you've had a few Mapple Mixers.. Welcome back! Haven't seen you around in months. Take a look at the tips/strategies post linked in my signature, someone posted a fast coin/Bux strategy that might be fun to try out. Would love to help you out with some planes but I don't even see you in my gifting list. It only shows the first 100 people sorted by level, and my cut off is around level 30. I like using a combination of both because the staggered landing times makes it easier for me to load them up again.
For very short distances, I prefer Sea Knights. my cutoff is that the round trip cost only 1 Bux to boost immediately (around 10 minutes). With every 4 SKs, I add a Roo P for the imbalance. The extra cargo means you have less planes to fly, which can be useful on big numbers : you save 40 flights for every 1000 jobs! And this is the one of the best looking and sounding "plane" around imho Medium and long distances, the Mapple is best for both its speed and range. For relaxed events, I like Blimps though Odd enough that there's a great class 1 plane for cargo only events (KK) but not for the P only events?

I know most think Class Three events are boring, but I have 40+ Cyclones waiting for the next one. Seems like it's been awhile. Ton of Class Ones lately.
I've not had much time playing with Mapples yet but liked the Sea Knights when I used them on my Iphone. In fact for one event I used them in combination with Hueys and did quite well as it knocked out the imbalance in cargo although it only worked as it was a short distance from the Class 3 airport, any further and the very slow speed of the Huey would have been a penalty. The little that I have used Mapples I do like them as they are quick I think I will be using them in future events although there is a little part of me that still likes Kangas and I have been downloading parts for Kangaroo-C's in preparation for any future cargo only events.

I agree with you that starting again is great fun, it's very interesting to see how you do things differently. I recently started a new game as I got an Android phone so had to start from scratch. The main difference to how I played was that in my old game on the Iphone I spent too long sat round just doing European routes and not really branching out to increase distances and profit. This time round I got long distance Class 3 airports as soon as I could and got the long routes in to make more profit. I also quickly moved to a bux collection strategy to build them up so by the time I got to key levels where I could buy useful planes I had the bux to get them and improve my airline. Happy flying and enjoy the lower levels while you can
Exactly, right now I'm level 9 with 9 airplanes and 5 airports (NY, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta and Dallas) but I'm planning on buying LA so I can start longer flights. Thanks a lot MindTornado!
I have been waiting for my very last event to complete for over eight weeks! I check every 12 hours, so I know I haven't missed it. Is there some trick to triggering it I don't know about? Seems unlikely that the event distribution is merely random, even if their relative frequency is weighted. Maybe I'm just unlucky...
