Well, the week got away from me as expected. Flung virtually no jobs at Philly until yesterday morning when I decided to make a decent effort of it: opened Detroit and DC, turned advertising on and made it into the top 20 for the finish. I gave up at about 5:30am when I realised I hadn't seen a single mystery part for hours. Now to send my single Roo-C to Sydney so it can do the minimum to Auckland. I didn't do too shabbily from Ottawa, so I figure I have enough Blimps now to try Merlion's strategy to boost my bux balance. (Happy to trade a Blimp body+controls in return for two engines to bring me up to a round 19+1.)
After two rewarding events (hauled in 19 Blimps + 2 bodies and an engine then 12 Sea Knights + 13 bodies and 12 controls) in a row, Nimblebit throws us a CHALLENGING one. Hopefully, I will be able to at least see the podium from where I finish... BTW, offering 2 to 1 on trades of SK controls and/or bodies for SK engines. Giving away 2 Blimp bodies and an engine.
Finished in 12th. Peaked at 9th but couldn't keep up with the pace in the finishing straight either. At least Auckland should be a bit more relaxing.
So you were the one sitting at tenth that I stealthily overtook in the last few hours... All for naught though when Faye the Flinger flung herself fitfully into the Finalists.
Sorry been busy over the weekend so only just got on here. I'll do that swap if you still want. I'll have to wait a bit to send though as my nephew has run down the battery on my phone playing on it
I'm burned out on PP and welcome the slower paced Auckland event. Even better that it is so remote that the nearest Class 3 airport is out of the range of Class 1 planes. Did you finish at #11? Trying to fill in the blanks in the SUCK. We have an unknown #2 for Philly ... I'm guessing it is Jethro? (I sent you a GC request) That's some hardcore part sitting. Now you have enough Sea Knights to turn the Blimps4Bux strategy into a SeaKnights4Bux strategy.
So guess who I had on a flight from Los Angeles to New York this afternoon, I knew it was going to be a good tennis match, once I saw Andrew Murray wanting to go from Los Angeles to New York, I also put Matthew Kelly on a flight today, I am currently on Level 41, about to level up to level 42 any day now, I am still loving this game even though it is slightly buggy, I have had loads of celebrities names on my flights in the last month.
I know that feeling LOL ... hmmm whose iPhone is it anyways? ... the Little One is playing Hay Day right now (to be followed by one of a dozen or so of her other "regular" games) so no plane flinging at the moment... Are you looking for blimp parts on IOS or Android? Congrats to Andy Murray! It's about time a Brit won Wimbledon. Who is Matthew Kelly? 8 hours?! Where did they start from?
I wish I had a chance to play more, but ended up only rounding out the top 20. Added some finish job counts from 16-26th in the SUCK. Missing off my GC list was: 24th - 1096 jobs 25th - 926 jobs
Thanks!!!! Some wildcards in the Top 20 are Gus, Ina & BumActor ... who finished at #11, #13, #14, or #15.
I've marked Jethro as finishing #2 in Philly because he posted earlier saying he cleared 10k. The Auckland event is decidedly unpopular ... only 29 people in TA1 participating.
I imagine it is because it is a pain...class 3 planes to Jakarta -> class 2 planes move jobs to Sydney -> class 1 deliver jobs?
