Ahh, I think I'm starting to understand now. So is the amount of time spent planning layovers worth the profit in the end? Or is the fuel needed to drop off layovers too much?
Would it be wise for me to sell my level 1 airports and buy level 2 airports when I can and sell my level 1 planes to get level 2 planes?
Oh yes, I've been doing this since I noticed the bux jobs disappearing after refreshes. I find it much less confusing to plan than layovers haha ^^
If you've a knack for planning and micromanaging, I think so. I lack those skills though, so I just do it if the chance presents itself XD
You get 4 Bux, the 25% bonus is only applied to passengers with fares in coins. You get 1 Bux, and the same rule applies. There aren't any quarters in this game! I hold on to all of my Bux for buying parts, since that's the only way in the game they can be acquired, other than gifts or events. You may be hoarding a ton of Bux at some point after a couple of levels, but just wait until the next plane is unlocked, and you'll be glad you saved them.
Oh dear I have neither of those skills xD I guess I'll just stick with getting the 25% bonus when I can. Thanks for your advice!
The only time I did that was to get the last few thousand to open my first Class 3 airport. I've pretty much been swimming in cash ever since.
Oh, I didn't even notice that, since it doesn't really display it when you fill a plane. I'm assuming it's 125 coins per bux or something similar (25% of a 1:500 exchange rate)?
I haven't noticed the amount of coin going up, but a bux job "counts" toward getting the bonus. I keep wondering when I have jobs that are 4 bux, if they *will* get a bonus (since below that there's no way to award 25% of the bux reward)
I'm not sure what the conversion rate is exactly but I do know that the bonus bux is converted to coins. The dev even said so himself.
Hi, are there any ways I can majorly improve my airline? I'm level 9 and I have the following: - Wallaby P, Navigator C, Mohawk M, Kangaroo M, Supergopher C, Airvan P (1 of each) My airports: Detroit, Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa , Atlanta, New York, New Orleans, Charleston. That's it. I have 40 bux and a good flow of cash. What do you guys think?
Keep the Roo and Mohawk and slowly phase out the rest for (if you want to keep level 1 planes) more Mohawk-M planes. If your looking to expand in the US, work your way west/southwest (Dallas, Seattle, Phoenix, San Francisco, Monterey) for a more spaced out, even spread. Once you get more level 2-3 Airports, grab a Birchcraft-M (or two max) and wait until you can unlock Pearjet-M. You should have a better idea at that point on expansion. imo its always best to space your airports out (but in enough range for you fleet to reach) so you can make more money overtime.
Definately boot out the Supergopher. And I'd say slowly transition to more Mohawks. Surprisingly tho. My only Navigator is the one making me the most money xD
