Blimp gone bonkers Decided to change the 'longest flight' entry on my stats screen and sent a Blimp all the way from Anadyr to Whitehorse, via every airport that I have open. I know this has been done before so this is definitely not the longest flight ever. (It's 51,000mi, took 2 days.) But it might be the one with the most stopovers: 106 airports.(Every airport I have open except Dhaka, which was closed when I set up the flight. Plus Casablanca, Lima and Bariloche twice.) Woohoo! Finally got a real mention in the M S & H. This is the digital equivalent of me cutting out an article from the paper and pinning it to my bulletin board. Thanks, I'm not that familiar with the Formula 1 ranking system. Haha, nice!
Merlion- I cross referenced between the link that Nalazoo posted and another wiki page that listed all the events. With the page Zoo' posted I just looked at what people/cargo were able to be delivered for each type of event and made a list that way.
Thanks Merlion for the Zanibar MOFO report. Looks like Gus "King of Roos" is going for it in Spokane, I saw him in the Top 10 (at #3) last night. Spokane is less conveniently located compared to the more centralized Zanibar event. I takes 2 hours for a Sequoia to travel across the globe, from Shanghai to Los Angeles! Here's what my airspace looks like with 12 airports servicing passengers of Red Tail Airlines. I have never been able to play with the Bux Calculator from my iPhone. Since the beginning of time. Guess it is related to my inability to upload photos to the forum from my iPhone (from Safari or the forum app). I know others have been able to upload directly from phone to forum with the forum app. We're starting to casually house hunt. Wonder what the realtors would think if we walked into an Open House and asked if there was a backup generator. I've never seen a hand-crank phone charger. I used to have one of those hand-crank flashlights, it was awful! You know you play too much Pocket Planes when you look forward to extra long traffic lights so you have time to get the game loaded and fling a few planes before the light turns green...
Wow, the blimp just barely makes it from San Francisco to Hilo. What are the chances for P and C jobs to show up when there are more of one type than the other? So for the Air Show event which can generate 4 types of P jobs (Airline Pilot, Jet Helmet, Pilot Headset, Red Baron) and 1 type of C job (Plane Parts), does this mean that P jobs are 80% more likely to show up than C jobs?
I WISH I KNEW No more 7th and 8th place results for me. No seriously, it would make sense but then again it would make more sense for Nimble to have some mathematical formula, so we don't figure it out.
Hi All - This is MT, a fledgling reporter for M S & H. So far there have been 13 lead changes between Icon, 'Zoo, and 'Tornado. 'Zoo has just made an attempt to make sure there aren't any more. Inside sources claim that 'Tornado was up 150+ jobs when he decided to take a stormy afternoon nap. Two hours later he awoke to 753 job deficit. Icon threw down the proverbial gauntlet when he declared, "It's on". But it looks like the only thing that's on is Icon and 'Tornado - as in on ice - thanks to 'Zoo flexing her flinging muscles.
A good reporter checks their facts tornado. Not sure who is toying with you two..but it's not me. I'm in 8th.
That's me in 3rd! I cashed in a load of bux and doubled my fleet size overnight. And suddenly, instead of being in position 30-something or 40-something, I'm up there with a chance of finishing on the podium. Hurray!
Let me see if I got this right...you posted twice in December, went bux sitting for the last 6 months, and now poof...here you are? How the hell do you not post for 6 months?? Surely you must have left and come back? Congrats either way...what set up were you running?
With that many airports open, you automatically get better at geography Incidentally, despite not even bothering with 25% bonus and just loading the farthest destinations I could get without any refresh at Anadyr, that Blimp made a $8k profit on the 2 days' flight. Blimps rule! Cheers, M.
