No problem with conspiracy theorists over here. You guys have to be right about some of your theories... I didn't compete in events for the first couple of months I played - didn't even know how they worked until I read the wiki. I googled pocket planes crew and of course TA was listed as the #1 crew. Being one that always roots for the underdog, I joined PocketTactics which was a little farther down the list. Joined their forum, but they averaged only 2-3 posts a week. Spent about a month with them before it got stale. Then for a challenge I joined other Top Ten crews to see if I could beat their resident "Ace". Even with my lack of refined tactics that I've gained since joining TA1, it wasn't too difficult - except for JayisGames ( that one took three events before I started my streak of wins). I joined / am staying with your crew for the sense of community - who knew there were people that like this game as much as me. I was going to join TA for an event or two to see if I could beat their #1, but after a short time TA1 feels like my Pocket Planes home. Plus there are some heavy hitters here that I want a shot at if they decide to play seriously again. That's probably a little more background that anyone cared to know...
In my signature you'll find a link to the TA1 spreadsheet - there are lots of helpful tips for players. Not sure what level you are at - brand new player?? Take a look at this, which was written by Faye: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2652549&postcount=12859 Use The Rusty Snowman calculator tool: http://therustysnowman.com/proj/pocketplanes.php Scroll down and you'll find a route planner. You can put in what types of planes you have and give a few different airports that you want to,open a try. If i were doing it over again, I'd start in Europe. It's an easier place to expand from.
Quite the opposite actually. Since you're talking about this, I'm quite mad at those medieval anti gay fundamentalist retards. Note that they protest violently against a now voted law allowing same sex marriage, that passed through the french Parliament and the Senate, and was ok'd by our Supreme Court. These far right small groups are akin to some of your Tea party lunatics. Again, dear conspiracy theorist, please refrain yourself from your dubious jokes about me! Now you're back on my ignore list.
Icon makes a joke about a protest and you got mad... You refer to right wing conservatives as lunatics... Now that offends me. Here's the deal.. Marriage is a religious thing.. It's ironic to participate in a religious rooted activity that directly contradicts the fundamentals of that very activity, that being, heterosexuality.
Icon always makes dubious jokes. That's not the first time, and he's been on my ignore list for a while. Just saw this one quoted. And obviously, we don't have much to talk about politically. Remember I'm talking about civil marriage, not religious one. And for what I've seen from here, Tea Party includes a lot of lunatics on european standards. Don't worry we got some here too as demonstrated by all the B.S. we've seen during the debates.
WTF? I wasn't making a joke about you, I was referring to a current event in your location! I read your post and was cracking up at your "midevil anti gay reference" because it really sums up that ignorance or lack of tolerance people have. Sorry that you somehow thought I I was joking on you...but then again, I COULD have been making a joke about a French pancake and you probably would have gotten your panties in a wad because I said the word FRENCH. Good God Man!
Give it a rest already. I came on here with the utmost respect for you and everything you did to help people in this game. My dubious jokes were taken harshly because you are so damn patriotic...because all of them referenced France and the American stereotypes we have about French people. You got pissed about it I apologized and we supposedly buried that months ago. Clearly not because you are still whining that I have been on your ignore list for awhile. Whatever. (an American phrase to say "I don't really give a flying...)
Wow. This is a game forum, not a podium to further your archaically religious views of how the world works. Go back to your basement with your guns and wait for "the gays" to come for you.
Thanks for sharing your scenic route getting here. Nice to know we have a noticeable sense of community. We used to be a more active forum, one where you'd fall behind by a dozen or two forum pages if you didn't check it for a few days. Many old timers lost interest in the game, which is to be expected for an "old" game. I think the 1 year anniversary is sometime this month? Those that remain have little to add to what has already been discussed before. I think the game I've been playing the longest and most consistently is Mafia Wars (on Facebook). Pocket Planes and Dragonvale are my main IOS games at the moment, playing both for about a year. So... What is this Clash of Clans I've heard some of you mention in recent weeks? do I need another potential addiction? I've been thinking of dusting off the old Wii...
I was curious too, so I did some digging. (Not that I plan on ignoring anyone.) But click a person's name then public profile. Then click User Lists, and add to ignore list.
I'll agree to keep my religious view points off your board, if you agree to keep your liberal view of conservatives off of mine. Because someone believes a certain way doesn't make their views archaic. It would be like if religion and religious views started coming back to society today, and I called your views archaic. You judge me for having a view point...and then dog me because it doesn't line up with your view. By the way, i don't have any guns, i also don't have a basement and have quite a few gay friends. Hope that helps your stereotype of me.
Wasn't actually referring to you, but I can see how you were confused. Since we are setting stereotypes straight though... 1. I'm not liberal. I think all politics are bullshit and holding society back. 2. I'm not religious. I think all religions are something early humans came up with to explain things before they were smart enough to figure it out. They are also why we have wars and they are holding society back. 3. I'm not a nationalist. I think most governments are poorly run by large egos and the having national pride while putting down another (like this whole passive-aggressive anti-French thing the US has going on) is holding society back. 4. I don't care what you (the royal you, not you specifically) are or how you feel about things. But the second I see you telling someone else that they CAN'T do something because of your political or religious or racial beliefs I will call you on it.
On another note...I just read that they are bringing back Twinkies and HoHo's. (This message was not intended to offend anyone based on sexual preference, or amount of sexual preference...they are snack cakes in America. See what had happened was, unions got Hostess the company that made these snack cakes, to go on strike forcing Hostess to go out of business. Another company is now going to make them and so we now have twinkies and hohos again, pleasing both liberals and gun toting, Bible thumping, backwoods conservatives like everyone thinks me and sp are... alike)
Lol...nice one! You wouldn't be very good at being gay would you?! But alas there is both a vegan twinkie and hoho recipe.
Safe to assume Vic and North don't share my political or social views. That being said.. I don't care to discuss them politics any more. Let's talk about PP!! (Pun intended)
Reporter: This is Shep Hancock, live at the TA1ville airport with a dusty, wind-blown Miss 'Zoo. Miss 'Zoo, you look as if you've just come out of a harrowing experience, what's going on? Miss 'Zoo: Oh this (brushes away the dust from her face), my Beagle cornered a young Groundhog. If the young'n ran the other way, ducking under the fence, it would have made it to safety. Instead...well.... Reporter: Oh, I see. It appeared as if the battle in the skies was wearing on you. Miss 'Zoo: The battle in the skies. Why yes, that's going on too. It seems that the low cost airfares that Mindtornado is offering, and flying planes at a loss are paying off with high rankings. I've heard he's getting preferential treatment for landing patterns and taxiing to the front of the line...I'm heading out to New York to see what's going on for myself. Reporter: Miss 'Zoo, is it true that you have been consolidating your airline in an effort to increase capacity and get more children to the National History Day competition in Washington, D.C.? Miss 'Zoo: Why yes Shep! I've recently closed Jakarta, Xi'an and I'm thinking of closing Lagos. Reporter: What about Kinshasa? If you're closing Lagos, wouldn't it make sense to close Kinshasa too? Miss 'Zoo: one might think that; however, there seem to be a large number of children and their parents in Kinshasa who are eager to attend the National History Day events. Reporter: Do you see these closures as permanent? Miss 'Zoo: Only time will tell. Nalazoo Airlines loves being competitive and we'll do what's needed to stay in the Top 10. Reporter: Good luck to you & the other competitors! This is Shep Hancock, at the TA1ville airport. As the camera pans away...we hear... Miss 'Zoo: Now Shep, hope you have some other clothes so yoi can help me with giving the dog a bath. Don't want your pretty skivvies getting wet. Reporter: I'm sure I can find something in the hanger... Like a mechanics jumpsuit or maybe some clothes Gus or Penguin have left behind. Hmmmm....going to have to hunt them down for an interview. I know they won't put me to work like Miss 'Zoo does. How can I tell her no?
