After a year or two, I finally restarted PP (Can't believe I ever quit this game)! I was wondering how many airports you have open Merlion (Not sure if you said it before, I looked at the last 20 pages or so on the forum and I don't believe you say it). Since I have a few extra parts: Anyone who guesses my planes/airports gets a free c-130 hercules controls OR a starship controls. -7 airports (64 million people) (Including event city: Berlin) -15 planes (Includes non-market planes) (Very unusual setup) -64 (P/C slots) Class 3 (1 non-market) -34 (P/C slots) Class 2 (No non-market) -7 (P/C slots) Class 1 (All non-market) Happy Flying to everybody! -Macs96
Thank you Faye as always for keeping the spreadsheet up to date! Burn out is rough. I have had trouble getting into PP lately. I blame Nimblequest!
Thanks for posting this! I've added it to the Consolidation Post (2nd link in my sig). I admire your perseverance. I know I'd get very bored with exclusively bux sitting. As for cycling through the planes using the right/left arrows, I sometimes wish it would go by the order listed on the plane list screen. Sometimes I tap the wrong one (big thumb, small iPhone screen), and it would just be easier for me to hit the right or left arrow to get to the one I wanted instead of exiting back out to the plane list. I divide my time between PP and Mafia Wars, and play both half-assed. I'd do better focusing solely on one or the other. Other games I play which are not as time consuming are Dragonvale and Words with Friends. Most of the games you see listed in my GC are the ones my Little One plays (or has played). I can't play PP while she's playing her games, but at least I can play Mafia Wars which is on Facebook.
Ok, I'll bite... AIRPORTS (7): Berlin Cairo Istanbul Paris London New York Moscow PLANES (15): 2 Sequoia 2 Cloudliner 1 C-130 4 Aeroeagle 2 Pearjet 1 P-40 1 Hot Air Balloon 1 Bobcat 1 Blimp I wasn't sure if you included the Mapple as a "non-market" plane. I consider it non-market since I play on iPhone, however understand it would be a market plane for Mac and Android players.
Aye, it can certainly be a little boring. But I found ways to make it into a fun mini-game and it helps that min-maxing the mundane is something that piques my interest. But do I want to go back to doing it for an extended period of time...ummm, negative.
For the more "gamer" crowd here: if you like turn by turn strategy games à la XCom, check out Warhammer Quest by Rodeo Games (the dudes that made Hunters series). 4.99$ worth every cent and more. The production value is through the roof and the replay value enormous. Sorry guys, I guess no Berlin top 10 for me
Charleston MOFOs After Port Hedland NimbleBit surprised us with another bux-plus-parts event, this time stateside, in the deep and luscious South. On top of that Charleston was pax only, the ideal recipe for a leisurely event after the wilds of Africa and Oz. Popehatz definitely showed his hand. He's going after Gus. In the Carolinas he equalled Gus's standing record of five consecutive wins. Some would even say, surpassed it as Gus's celebrated fifth win was shared with two co-conspirators, sorry co-winners. Anyway, it's probably a moot issue since the Popester looks determined to win Berlin as well. ("First we take Manhattan. Then we take Berlin.") Pope took Charleston with 3,516 jobs. Second place went to Lorena aka XGarriga, who had a good showing with slightly over 2,000. Leaping Liz aka Snowbird completed the podium with 1,764 jobs. The MOFO Statesman & Herald suspects that the threat of becoming wintry pounlry put some extra fire in her belly. Congrats to the podium winners! Nokitano took 4th, only 50 jobs behind the wintry bird, and Nalazoo took 5th not very far behind that. Jmac missed 5th by 6 jobs. Faye, on account of being burned out, ended up in 7th. Behind her Stogey Jerry showed up again in 8th, followed by a new face in 9th: Igerera. Or new-ish, we should say, for Igerera was with us a long time ago. Nevertheless, these are Ig's first MOFO points so there's definitely something to celebrate. Ktc brought up the rear, which made the entry ticket for the Charleston Top Ten worth 774 jobs. This brings us to the SY7/GS3 standings: 1st: Popehatz, 125 points (1st, 100); 2nd: Penguin, 55 (2nd, 55); 3rd: Faye, 46 (3rd, 40); 4th: Jmac, 45 (4th, 37); 5th: Nalazoo, 44 (5th, 34); 6th: XGarriga, 35 incl. one 2nd (9th, 17): 7th: Ktc24, 35 incl. one 6th (6th, 34); 8th: Nokitano, 30 (8th, 18); 9th: Vic, 25 (7th, 25); 10th: Snowbird and Green Paper, 15. Popehatz is still relishing his perfect score, and looks intent to keep it that way. If he does, he will clinch the 7th Silver Yoke in Charleston. Penguin stays in 2nd despite taking a break; and Faye keeps 3rd place. She's under threat from two people right behind her: Jmac, at one point distance, and 'Zoo at two. XGarriga aka Lorena shares 35 points with Ktc but outranks Ktc's 7th because of her 2nd place in this race. Nokitano stays in 8th; Vic drops two places to 9th; and Snowbird and Green Paper share 10th, each with a third place as their highest result, bringing the SY7 Top Ten to eleven people for a change. The two tough Northerners from behind the Wall, North and Tater, are not very far behind with 12 and 11 points; Rebartsch and Stogey Jerry each have 4; and Suvinirk and Igerera, each with two points, bring the total number of points scorers in SY7 to 17. Concorde League standings: 1st: Gus, 526 1/3 (1st, 526 1/3); 2nd: Faye, 509 (2nd, 503); 3rd: North, 366 (3rd, 366); 4th: Penguin, 342 1/3 (4th, 342 1/3); 5th: Nalazoo, 298 1/3 (5th, 288 1/3); 6th: Number1Ump, 288 (6th, 288); 7th: Nokitano, 275 (8th, 263); 8th: Vic, 267 (7th, 267); 9th: Snowbird, 236 (9th, 221); 10th: Ktc24, 221 (10th, 220). Top 6 stays the same. Faye is still creeping up on Gus, and we all wonder if and when he'll come out of hibernation. It's Spring, Gus old bear! Nokitano reconquers 7th from Vic. Rarely was a 7th place in any Cup so hotly contested. And lastly, Snowbird's great showing in Charleston puts some distance between her and Ktc. This of course will not deter the latter, so Snowbird, keep watching your back! That was it for today, folks. See all of you in Berlin and let's have a great party in Kreuzberg afterwards! Cheers, M.
Thanks for the MOFO update Merlion. Always a fun read. As much as it's sometimes difficult to find the motivation to keep flying, I don't envy the stress of needing to cover even the low turn-out events.
Missing/unknown names on leaderboard My leaderboard currently shows 5 unknowns. While it's nice to see some new (or recently revived old) blood in the running, it'd be nice to keep track of the competition in a more personal way. Here's who I've got, if anyone could fill in some of the missing names I'd appreciate it: XGarriga (Lorena) JCruz Jmac Ktc Or, if you haven't seen a friend request from me over GC, please feel free to add me. Thanks
I've been playing this game off and on for a while now and it is addictive. But I'm looking for some parts. I have two C-130 engines and am looking to part with one and get some of the other parts. I also have a hot air ballon controls and body.
I'm the 2nd. But, I'm about to stop. It's getting quite tiresome already and I should get to work, heh. ETA that I'm 2nd in the Toucharcade crew, not TA1.
What is your GC name? I'll send you a friend request. You can also add your info to the TA1 spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?pli=1&key=0Ale0JqVq80xJdFprbi0xMmF2RG94TEdIYWlqOEtHRUE&f=true&noheader=true&gid=0 Alternately, look at the names in the screenshots posted by Faye at the end of the Charleston event yesterday and send requests to anyone missing from your list.
I include mapples as non-market... Berlin London New York = Right 1 Blimp 1 C130 Hercules = Right Thanks for playing Faye, -Macs96 Edit: Thanks for the quick reply Merlion, 103 airports sounds like a lot to manage... Do you have all the class 2 and 3 airports open?
