I would like to take this time to make an announcement. It has been brought to the attention of everyone here that we are in the midst of a truly talented writer and a legendary newspaper. Working tirelessly for at least 20 minutes twice a week the MOFO Statesman and Herald brings you the very best in news. This work should not go unnoticed. On behalf of the "Toucharcade1" flight crew and Flatlanders everywhere I hereby present the first "Pocket Pulitzer" to.. Drum roll... My 4yo daughter kept calling my c130s "cow planes." I didn't see what she was talking about until I used black and white- Guernsey of course.
I have a cow-copter. When I was doing the paintwork on one of my sea knights I did one in black and white. I'll post a pic when my phone gets some charge in it. I might also paint up one of my hercs to match now
Xian - how I did it So first off I have to say that this is one of those rare world events that it is possible to really go for it. Why? The location of the city is the contributing factor to putting up big numbers of jobs. Xian is a perfect location in that it is in the middle of a huge cluster of class 3 cities. There are three or so other cities that would work as well. They are also in the middle of that cluster. Too Far East or west and it makes the flight times too long to accomplish even with a ton of planes. For the record I ony used Cloudliners, cyclones and sequoias for this event. All planes flew round trip. Each city had a pair of Cloudliners and a pair of cyclones. All planes were P/C with the exception of Seoul and shenyang only for the simple reason that I did not have enough Cloudliners and cyclones P and C to fill them. Bangkok and Delhi also had a buffer M class plane to help fill the lag time between round trip arrivals. That is pretty much it in a nut shell. I would like to thank all who donated planes to the cause for this. They will all be retired to the hanger until I think I can beat 21,600. They will also be named for those who donated them. The photo below shows the airports I had open and how many planes I had in them. Why no Planes flying? I wanted you guys to see the actual numbers. As you can see I didn't even use all 54 planes either. Hey if I can do it so can everyone else and that is why I am sharing the info! Happy flying and most of all enjoy the game! Gus
I've really enjoyed playing with my micro swarm the past couple of weeks but i've realised I have nowhere near enough planes to compete with the top ten which is one reason I am going back to bux sitting. The other reason being that I have a mad couple of weeks coming up with very little spare time and bux sitting takes less baby sitting.
Thanks a lot, 'Zoo and Penguin, for the generous praise. And thanks Penguin, for the Pocket Pulitzer, which is the greatest honour to be bestowed on Flatland's journalism. I feel humbled an honoured after publishing only 49 issues of the MOFO Statesman & Herald (not counting special issues due to MOFO revisions). But in all seriousness, it's not the prize that inspires me most. What keeps the M S & H going is the great community that we all form, between the TA1 crew and the TA Forum. If you weren't posting and flying the way you do, I would have little to report on. Contrary to what has been suggested before I'm not a professional writer, and the fact that all these reports seem to flow so easily from my pen is solely attributable to all of you. Hello Haven't been to active on the forum in a while. I broke my Ipad about 6 hours ago and lost everyting on it. I just got a brand new one so i have to start over again. If anyone of my TA1 crew friends will help me with some class 1 and 2 planes/parts (roo m and aero m) i would appreciate it. I got 75 jobs in the event so i will get 50 bux.
Did you ever back up your ipad on itunes? I would think you should be able to retrieve your game. I've lost everything and had to start over before, but now I plug it in an physically back it up about once a week. I'm hoping I can retrieve it that way.
No backups. Im gonna take backups now and use iCloud. The worst is losing all my pictures and documents. --- Thanks you for all the help Nokitano.

Add me guys! GC: J4127 I've just gotten back into the game. Been doing pretty well, just restablishing everything. I've got almost all of the US covered so far and I am at level 4? But yeah! Doing great, I held a contest before, and I shall keep my word and distribute prizes to the top people in the events soon. I just need to keep building my empire! My old save data got wiped from Icloud so time to start over!
