So I'm in 17th last night due to work and busy schedule, but I can see 13th had only like 3100. So I'm thinking that is gravy, I might be able to catch the top 10. I slowly start creeping, but can't see the top 10 yet. Same thing this morning. Get up to 12th and can see that 11th only has about 400 ahead of me so 10th only has 1000 or so ahead of me...NOT! The top 10 is officially killing the rest of us. 10th is ahead of 11th by 3000 jobs!!! I guess I should have played more, and I probably screwed any chance I had, by using onuly aero m and mapples? But hey, I'm set up perfectly for the next event. (hint, hint nimble)

You know you're getting old when you don't understand your kids' English... :p And I would agree, the sentence should say "cost".

You might as well set the bar as high as possible, given the 6-7 class 3 cities clustered close to the event city!

Screenshots, here you go... might be 30 mins out of date though:

I've really enjoyed this event. I've used a combination of Aeroeagle M's on the short runs from Seoul, Shenyang and Shanghai. The rest of the runs are long but with big planes for jobs counts. A little of both.

26 slots but I think I'm at my limit. How you guys with the 30+ slots do it I don't know but I take my hat off to you.

I am officially done for this one. I gave it a nice even score on my side of 21,600.

I did this to see if the update is correct and or if there is a lag at the end of the game for score reporting. Hopefully the 1:15 left will be enough time to let the servers count all the score.

I am working on my account of the event but probably won't be able to post until I get home and get Internet and not the kind I have to sit on my neighbors front porch :D

    Happy flying

You mean like when my daughter walks around saying shaaa (yes) and totes for sure ( totally yes)? I can't be that old, I still remember "mint" (very cool) and fresh (also very cool) or hella cool (west coas t version of really cool), dope (real cool) or straight dope (see all of the above). :p

Anyone got any ideas of where the next event maybe? I'm thinking Southern Africa. I've shut up shop for Xian early and sent my fleet to Tehran as its a central point but also to get a few local event jobs done at the same time.

I know - it's a serious fight to STAY in the Too 10! Hubby & son needed my help getting pictures & shelves hung back up in my son's room after painting it. Of course....yep they can't wait until after 3pm (when the event ends). Oh No!!! I went from having a hope of sneaking back into 8th...and dropping to 10th!!

WOOT! I think that's the all time high for TA1 ... now we'll expect you to hit 25k on the next event ... ;)

I've enjoyed this event too, pretty mindless flinging. My only gripe is with the 5+ sec pause/freeze when tapping/scrolling. I feel like I'm playing in slow motion. And the frequent game crashes are frustrating. I know exactly where I want to tap/scroll and am frustrated that the game can't keep up. I often cannot make it through my planes list (one pass from top to bottom) within one job refresh cycle due to these pauses/freezes/crashes. Maybe it's an iPhone 4 running IOS 5.x issue.

This is the first time I used the swarm method - and I found it extremely labour intensive! I had 43 planes (24 sequioa-m, 17 aeroeagle-m, 2 cyclone-m) spread across the entire map in about 12 cities, with lots of Bux layovers. So I spent about a day clearing them all up before concentrating the planes in Shenyang, Beijing, Seoul, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. The sequioas/cyclones would do roundtrips to Xian, and the aeroeagles would clean up any leftovers or do Bux jobs to other cities.

As a side note, I also experienced frequent crashing of my iPhone4S while using this swarm method. Maybe from all the planes constantly landing!

Here's the top few to complete Faye's info:

Golden Week Celebration in Tokyo! Looks like this is a people only event, with 50 BUX to winner & top 10.

Golden Week is a collection of 4 holidays in one week. There's more information here: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2282.html

Note: travel activity is expected to peak on May 3rd, and large numbers leaving the area in the opposite direction on May 5-6.

Had lots of success in this event using the blue rectangle. I've got lots of spare blue rectangle parts if any Android users need any.

Congrats Gus, that was truly amazing. Can't wait to read how you accomplished 21k jobs. I worked hard to get 10,700. Which is by the way my first time with 10k jobs. Now i'm going back into hibernation for a little while. Don't know if I'll be able to compete in any events the next 6 weeks. Got two trips to the uk planned. First one I leave Sunday morning.

Hello, here's Spineth checking in. I just added my really low scores to the spreadsheet. It seems I'm an all-or-nothing kinda gal. Staying in the top ten was keeping me from all the other fun stuff that had to happen, so I've had to back off on flying planes.

But i always love reading the event recap! Merlion, thanks for the regular entertainment. :)

Nice blue rectangles! I'll bring out my yellow rectangles and we can have an air race!
