Yay just squeezed back into the top 10. Now just got to try and build a cushion for tonight when i'll be asleep so I can stay there. On a side note, is everyone else getting an excess of people rather than cargo. It's hurting me a bit as i'm mainly using sea knights. My cargo heavy lift team are running back and forth from London but still its not enough at the minute to support my SK's.
Congrats Yelto! Now keep it there! As for your side note, yes I think I do too, I fly on my Android with 3 mapples, 1 SK, 3 Kangaroo P and 1 Kangaroo C. I can fill up the P planes faster then the M or C. On my IOS I fly with Aeroeagles and they all take a while filling up. I can't play on the IOS much cause girlfriend uses it for studying.

Poo I didn't get enough of a cushion and when I woke I was in 11th with only 20mins to throw some jobs. Ah well i've more than doubled my previous best and got to the fringes of the top ten. Lets see what I can do next time. Heres a pic of my view of the leaderboard.
Finally the event is over ! I want to give the server that's updating the leaderboard a good hard kick. It updates slowly and sporadically. I'm sure North and I were watching leaderboard (not too closely because I still have to fly the planes). Grats North for the last big leap over KTC And now New York. Hmmmmmmm..... Do swarms do well in Class 3 events? Edit: I can visualize Vic Sarkder moving his Imperial fleet to New York. After weeks of patient waiting and watching the swarms fly to the class 1 and class 2 events, the time is now right for the Imperial army to descend to claim New York as the capital of his new empire. Edit2: who will be the emperor? Qn: I just realize that washington D.C. is a class 2 airport. It's smaller than New York in real life (population wise) ?

I'm assuming that North meant a real 5 km run .... Edit: Welcome to New York where 20 jobs make the top of the list, and with a single job, our renowned TA1 MOFO chairman-and-ace reporter Merlion clinched the 7th position with a single job. Edit2: And we're 4th on the leaderbord with 63 jobs. 1st has 629 jobs, followed by 68 and 66. Edit3: Globally, 1st on the leaderboard has 1169 jobs while TA1 is at #3 with 200 jobs, 69 jobs behind #2. The jump in our rank is attributed to JMAC who is now leading with 112 jobs, followed by SDO62 in his wake with 30 jobs. Yours truly is #6 with 7 jobs. The increase of a single job from 6 to 7 is contributed by 2 full cloudliners (OKOK, there were some bux jobs, but there were definitely more than 1 blue job). Given such high tax rate (or erratic job count), it's no wonder that our accumulated job count remained so low. We will test the job counter again with two cloudliners full of blue jobs. Edit4: The 2 cloudliners have landed, a total of 34 jobs, all blue no bux. The job counter is now 33, an increase of 26 from the previous 7 jobs. Where did the missing 8 jobs go? Delivering another cyclone (12 blue jobs) to see how many jobs are accepted this time. I'm now thinking of all our global event jobs. We frantically fly hoping that the server will update the leaderboard in time. Apart from the random last update, I wonder what's the magnitude of the missing jobs. Edit5: The cyclone has landed and the leaderboard is shows 67 jobs my me. Half an hour later it shows 79 jobs. Which I guess has finally caught up with my cyclone from an hour plus ago.

More than 60k jobs combined for the top10. Congrats y'all My thoughts exactly mate. With my usual setup, it's very hard to compete for the top 5 now. Because 40 or 50 planes swarms/ and ess than 5 airports are way more efficient for class 1 or class 2 events. Whereas for a class 3 event, I can have a 54 class 3 planes swarm But I'm really busy IRL, so I won't be swarming with 35 cyclones, 6 Cloudliners, and 13 Sequoias I guess. Unless... I finished 42nd, Gus swarmed me I guess
I would love to know how an hour after each event one person continually has 600+ jobs already done. It is like this every event for at least the last 3. I have 20 seq m and 15 aero m going and can't even come close to that. If bux boosting, you'd have to bux boost for almost 30 min straight and only if you knew ahead of time where the event city is going to be. It feels like the oam trick is being applied. Call me the conspiracy theorist, passive aggressive, or as M so eloquently put it the complainer, but I constantly feel like I'm playing on an uneven table when I see like this.
