Thanks! I paid for advertising and only have 10 mapples going to Orlando, so the extras I bring in from LA are just enough to keep the planes in the air. I also have free time today at work, so I can keep checking in every 15 minutes to send them back in the air. I will look at the other guides and see if I can improve, but I'm trying to get coins and build my plane slots up right now. With only 4 airports, I haven't seem many bucks jobs come through.
Getting a late start to the Orlando event. The polar bird is tired, sunburned, and after playing 36 holes on back to back days is tired of golf as well. Back to flying and climbing up the leaderboard.
I have the same, I almost only got mapple engines, I can send you some. Oh btw people, Look what I found! http://www.flightradar24.com/, anyone knows that site? You can track all the planes on earth, click on a plane and see its flown path and destination, with a picture of that plane and much more info. Also possible to get a Google maps based cockpitview. Enjoy!
I have been nerding out with FlightGear (http://www.flightgear.org/). It is an open source flight sim! Totally free. Currently I am flying an A380 from KSFO to KSEA. Wow it take a lot longer than PP!
That's what my set up looks like. Same cities. Just using 40 mapples. I'm just suffering from a PP burnout.
I just noticed that the forum's page counter is working fine now. Last page hyperlink now goes to page 1576, which is the last number on the row of page numbers. The mysteries of how things get broken and then mysteriously get fixed. Last night I suddenly lost Internet connection. I was trying to save an online quiz when the connection just died. I rebooted my computer, power off and on both the modem and the router, and still no Internet connection. By then, I was super tired then and so decided to go to bed instead of calling my ISP. In the morning when I woke up, the connection was restored. Had I called my ISP, they would have said there's no problem with the network signal in my area. And then insist that I connect my modem directly to the computer. And then said the signal is fine on their side, my modem is fine, and the problem could have been my router. And end with the conversation that they will escalate the problem to their technical side. This scenario and another one (very lag Internet connection, packet losses when I do continuous pings) 100% result in the above conversation for umpteenth times in the past. If it really had been my router, will it breakdown just like that and then right itself later? Does anyone know?
You know nothing about me so keep the BS to a minimum, I know that is your m.o. (in case you think I forgot the childish name calling from before). My quote was that it is possible that I was, I don't know. You emphatically state I wasn't so show me your proof? Exactly.
Forum still broken at my end, it seems to occasionally fix itself then next day have two extra pages again as I managed to get to the last page the other day. As for your interweb issues, I work in telecoms and there are so many different reasons why the service went off and then came back, too many to list. Keep an eye on it as if it keeps happening, especially at similar times then it could be a problem that needs reporting. If its a one off then no need to worry about it. Starting to get the new swarm strategy running and I now have massive respect for those who have got to 5K and above on events. I'm playing as often as I can and I haven't even hit 1K yet, although admittedly today has been quite busy for a change. Also a question to all you swarmers, how do you get enough jobs to keep sending planes. I have Orlando with advertising and a fully upgraded London and NY and I only have enough jobs each refresh to send 4-5 planes each time unless I have dropped some layovers off with my Cyclones when I can send a few more.
Yel i sent you a pm. As for the forum issue, i used to have the same problems but I tweaked the way it reads in settings. I put max posts available per page and I inversed the reading order so that the last post posted shows first. It helped a lot, and now i never have and never miss anything.
Wow I'm in 5th right now. Not sure how long this will last. I'm sure that something will popup that will take we away from the iPod for a while. Though I suspect that going from 24 to 32 planes helped. Cashed in 12,500 Bux. I wanted to hold out for more but couldn't wait. It's interesting how 8 more planes help out quite a bit.
I'm in Canada, and this morning the page numbering was surprisingly fixed. Now, roughly 5 hours later, it's showing page 1577 of 1582 (where 1577 is the actual last page).
Nice expansion. I've just hit the 10k mark with bux and don't know how much longer I can hold out either. I'm trying to hold onto them until the next event that will bring mystery parts...then maybe I'll do a mad expansion.
That's a Totem. http://pocketplaneswiki.com/File:Cargo-Totem.png I can see how it can appear creepy when most of it is obscured and you can only see the top part.
