hey again guys. I decided to start again this morning (I basically ruined my airline by getting rid of all my class 1 airports and relying solely on class 2/3. It really didn't work for me at all.) What do people find is a good ratio of plane classes? Should you always try and have the maximum allowed airports? How many planes should you have per airport? Started in America instead of Europe and seems a lot more fun for some reason, plus the east cost is a real hot spot to develop!
Is it neccessary to open airports in Africa? Im not doing Trans-Atlantic flights. Im connecting Quebec to Gooose Bay to Nuuk to Rekyavik to the UK somwhere and make a hub out of London or Paris and make a a massive chain. (BTW, is that a legit move?)
Wow you guys in this forum move fast. great ideas going around. I just picked the game up yesterday & i'm reading through both forums looking for ideas. I started in NA & i began trying to connect the NE region until I read about building straight lines. I'm looking for Navigator P Engine if anyone has one to spare. the more I level, i'll return the favor. thanks. GC MFDOOM
Anyone know a suitable number of planes to have at once? My current 30 planes (bought bux) is just too tiring and time consuming to handle.
Yeah, it's necessary as you get to the higher levels. It also allows you to have another transatlantic route from Africa-S. America. And yes, that would be a legit move, albeit at a loss of profit. It would be better to just get a class 2 plane and make London-New York.
Right now I have nothing but class 2 planes and class 2 and 3 airports, and it's going really well. In your case, I would imagine that it would be ideal to maintain near-identical class ratios between your airports and your planes. For instance, if you have 9 class 1 airports, 3 class 2 airports, and 8 planes, then around 6 of those should be class 1 planes (75 percent). As far as the airport maximum, I like to stay at one below the maximum so I always have that spare spot to use for global events in case it occurs somewhere other than my airports. The maximum may be difficult to reach initially, but once you reach about LVL 12 with larger gaps between levels, it will be easier to catch up with the maximum with your increased income. Just make sure there is adequate spacing between your airports for increased fares. The airport-to-plane ratio depends on your airport activity. If you find that no jobs sign frequently, it's time to invest in more airports or move to larger ones if you're at the cap. If you're leaving lots of passengers behind, you should focus instead on more plane spots to move more people and make more money. Initially, you'll probably have more airports than planes. However, as leveling and thus the increase in the airport cap slows, your plane count should begin to approach that of your airports to some extent. I'm thinking a one-to-one ratio of airports to planes would be ideal, though your results may vary.
I have 4 (3 class 3, 1 class 1) airports and 9 planes (3 birchcraft, the rest class 1). My daily revenue is 240,000. Can anyone beat that (getting such a high revenue with so little resources)?
1. Is there any way that a class 2 plane can take a class 1 airport as a "fly-by-stop"? I want to get from london to new york bt the range is not enough to fly overseas and i cannot have a stop at reykjavik because its a class 1 airport.. or do i have to upgrade the range of the plane until it works? 2. How much planes do you have in action? I have 10 and im level 10.. is it too few? another question: Once i have enough level 2 planes, should i delete all my level 1 airports?
That's impressive, though since the passengers you get are limited to the cities in which you have airports, it must be really easy to combo and get the bonus. I average about 275,000 daily with 14 class 2 airports, 3 class 3 airports, and 10 class 2 planes, so I'm nowhere near as efficient. Nope, you can't add class 1 airports to class 2 plane routes as waypoints. Guess you're stuck with range upgrades, though if you are close to a level in which you get planes with better range, I would save the bucks for that instead. Level 10 means you have a 13 airport maximum, so 10 planes sounds pretty reasonable. I'm also running 10 planes, though I'm about to buy an 11th. I would definitely close them and purchase more class 2 airports to give your class 2 planes more options and increase income.
I have just started and I'm thinking im missing some basic strategy principles. I started in NA, and have Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Thunder Bay and Atlanta. I also purchased Brisbane and another 2 small airports near it for the global event. I am level 8 and have not upgraded any planes or airports. I have 6 planes, all class 1. What is the next best move? Expand to different cities? or upgrade stuff?
Thanks for the answers! One more question as im updating for mostly level 2 airports now. Is it good to spread my airports as far as possible or should i search for a place where i can find more airports nearby so i have more alternatives for routes?
Kinda new here, started yesterday, am level 10 now. I just joined toucharcade's crew, i probably have like 10+ jobs done for the Brisbane job. This is where i need help. with 10+ jobs done, what am i entitled to? Just the part of the P40 or the whole P40 since im in the touch arcade crew am we are gonna win handsdown. Is the prizes for the top 1000 players in each crew OR top 1000 crew itself? really need to clarify. Thanks. Nommy
Definitely spread them out as long as they are within reach of your planes, of course. The farther the distance, the more passengers will pay to reach their destination.
It's actually 13,314,525 coins to be exact. Yeah I know I really poured in a lot of real cash for this game. With that though I can expect at least a level a day (level 19 now)
