Merlion, another great article...and thanks for the encouragement! I for one look forward to your writings, little bit of drama, little bit of humor...fun for the whole family. Got to be a woman. BUT...since I brought up the family, it bothers me every time I see the name Lyndsie 13. I think that we should have full disclosure as a group. Why do I need to wonder who Lyndsie's brother is, or whether Merlion is a woman? Or, if Snowbird is really flying high (as implicated). For instance take Vic...a couple of events ago, I wondered if he was smelly and had the little beret and black and white stripe shirt? So I googled him and it turns out he is a decent looking clean cut guy (if the twitter pic is accurate). I've wondered about some others, Faye for instance. I'm picturing a little June Cleaver, baking all the dang time. Who knows though, she may be done smoking hot soccer mom? Penguin for example...is he short? Does he waddle? Ktc...everytime I see that name I think kFc and start getting hungry. Etc, etc. Full disclosure people! Castle-the cakes are hollowed out!

It would be much better if they were part of the SUCK, so the rankings could be crowdsourced rather than depend on just one person. Another big advantage would be that everyone would be able to look up their places in the various leagues, even if they weren't part of the Top Ten. I've looked into this but haven't found a proper way yet. I think the first step towards a solution would be to exercise a bit more discipline in the way everything is recorded. I remember having to do a LOT of manual error correction to get rid of countless #N/As when I did the first two dozen races at the beginning of the MOFOs. Slight misspellings of names, even case sensitivity, cause mayhem. I might point out that North's forum name is not exactly SomewhatSlightlyUberDuberInfinitelyExtremelyExtraordinarilySeverelySuperblyNorth, to name just one example. Then there's the ranking itself. Unknowns get in the way; sometimes they have their own line, sometimes they're just mentioned in the comments column. And the result is that the spreadsheet ranking is not always the same as the MOFO ranking, as the MOFOs exclude unknowns. So it's not just a matter of sticking a VLOOKUP into another column in the spreadsheet. VLOOKUP is the basis, then comes a lot of handiwork. This has gotten worse after we had to do the revision, removing the pistoleros' results. Matter of fact, I've been doing it by hand ever since, as it's faster. But I'm not the ultimate expert on spreadsheets so anyone with suggestions, please let me know! Cheers, M.
Since I started in Australia I had Melbourne and Sydney open and closed all the little ones to set up the Flysher's BUX/coin strat. Struggeling with sending full and profitable planes back and fore from NY/CHIC/LA via Salvador - Kinshasha - Ahmedabad into my already present kingdom in east Asia and with the casual play style I managed a place in the top 50 right before the ending of the event, got knocked to 50 - 55 I believe. But my goal was achieved; obtaining the SK. I also managed to pick up 6 mystery parts and was able to build 1 SK out of it. I still have 3 engines left, too bad I cant build a super SK with 4 engines... Would be insane. Anyway, I am able to trade or give away these parts. In the current event I posses the 42th spot with 'just' 39 jobs. I also want to thank VIC for sending me a Mapple to my android account. Maybe I can repay you with the SK engines? hmm now I am wondering, can I send parts from my GC to my MOBAGE account?
Nope you can't. I wish you could as I've just started a game on my tablet in preparation for me getting an Android phone soon and it would be nice to send some of my little stuff that I don't use from my Iphone to the tablet, and eventually it would have been nice to send all my planes to the android when I get it but its not possible

Mobage is on Android only, on iOs and Mac they use GC. And since sending parts between Mobage and GC is not possible someone on Android must have sent you mapples if you got one on Android. Btw, on Android (and Mac) you can buy mapples (and parts) in the market, that's where we Android guys get them from, no Mac needed
Playing the new game on my tablet at the moment and I now realise how useful it is to have a global event in the area you start. Not only do you get loads of jobs thus boosting your coins and bux a bit quicker but also a bux prize like we have for this one seems so much more useful when you only have 20-30bux to begin with rather than 10K of them. I'm enjoying playing at this level again its quite fun flinging loads of planes on short journeys especially after all the bux sitting i've been doing on my Iphone but it will be good to get some longer routes going to start making some big money.

Did you send the parts to my MOBAGE Fantasyicon? If that was the case I'll send you the stuff back bacuase I was talking about SK engines on my GC account... Maybe it is to confusing to have the same name for GC and MOBAGE?
