Great minds think alike, Jmac! I actually did that. It was the initial reason for me to want to go to 62 slots. I had them all do at least one flight AND deliver at least one or more jobs (business first, of course) and then quickly hangared most of them. Melbourne Top 12-21 Congrats to Snowbird for reaching 10k, that's awesome!!! I thought I'd be able to fling some planes while on the plane, but the Little One commandeered the iPhone to play all her games, which was just as well cuz I was drowsy and preferred to nap.

Usually on a flight home I am fighting really hard to stay awake having stayed up too late the night before trying to fit everything into the suitcases. We fly with a car seat and it makes for a REALLY nice headrest for mommy nap time
Dear Snowbird, congratulations ! You have an immediate opportunity for class 1 10k jobs. Adelaide (class 1) is next, just beside Melbourne. And if you've been using class 1 planes, you can smoothly continue your jobs I used areoeagles (actually pairs of P/C areos), which alas cannot fly to Adelaide. Well, this is perfect for superpenguin's 40 mapples, Gus' swarm of Roos and Merlion's newly knighted seaknights

Hmmm never really played with the route planner on Rustysnowmans distance calculator and so hadn't realised how little speed upgrades affect the profit for the Class one planes, its as little as 60-100 coins per flight but then the profit per hour is also a little higher so I guess it evens out. Going to be upgrading all my event planes now as it makes sense to get them there a little faster.
Seems like Snowbird did 1-8, at least the ones she could see. My guess is Spineth and Yitz should be somewhere in there. (5th and 6th, perhaps?) If that's true, we still need 9th and 10th. Can anyone verify? Cheers, M.

It wouldn't surprise me if that happened - after all, there was an event in Jerusalem in (I think) November* where they set the event details up but forgot to include event jobs until sometime the afternoon it started. (* - Apparently, my iPhone doesn't think November begins with a capital letter.) I know what you mean - I had 13 mystery parts for the recent Starship event in Boston. I ended up with 6x Bodies, 6x Controls (I had already acquired one of each) but only 1x Engine. Hence my current GameCentre status. It's just a shame it's a cargo-only event. I won't be doing it though - the top prize is 30 Bux and I accrued so many layovers in New York, London, Paris, Mumbai and Jakarta during the last event that, if I sent them between now and Wedneday (when the event ends), I'll be gaining 2.5x that amount.
I was just curious how much I missed the podium by since I just cleared the 178 jobs I had in layovers. Bed called what's a guy to do?
Holy cow, and I thought I had a messy parts list, thats a lot of SK's. Are all your planes like that in the parts list or is it just the ones that have been parts giveaways

I think I remember seeing RoboRoboto creep into the top ten yesterday toward the end if the event. Just a guess though. Also I think KTC24 was getting up there too.
