I guess you were right SP, this forum is dying. 68 posts from 8am on the 27th to 8am on the 28th (24hrs). In the last 2 days (48 hours)...only 26 posts total! I'm bummed! So help me devise my next strategy. I cashed in and now have 35 slots. I want minimal bux sitting, but enough to still make it worth collecting. Yet, i want to be in the mofo ranks bad. So, how many airports which ones for massive bux sitting, aow many cities should I close? I currently have open la, mex, chi, ny, buenos, rio, sao, lima, kanasha, lagosos, cairo, ist, lon, par, tehran, karachi, mumbai, kolata, dakha, jakarta, moscow, manila, shanghai, seoul, and tokyo. Collecting in a maximum amount of cities helped me collect a ton quickly, but I am growing bored faster! Plus it limits you because of the massive job scrolls making playing an event almost impossible. So what do you guys think? I've read all the strategies countless times, and none really seem to target what I'm trying. Anyone have anything new?
I think there are a few things that are going on. It was a holiday weekend, so many were baking, cooking, visiting with relatives and celebrating. If you read through this entire thread, you'll see times where the forum is VERY active and times where all the posts from one day fit on one page. That's the nature of social interaction. If you think the forum isn't busy...throw up a topic or two. When the newcomers rode into TA1ville, there. Was discussion. When there. When a conspiracy occurred...more discussion. So...if you want the forum to be busy ...ask questions, talk...participate (for all those linkers out there). Ok...to your big question...LOL...now you know why i've been closing airports If it were me, I'd close: Lima, Buenos Aires, Tehran, Karachi, Mumbai, Kolata, Dakha, Jakarta, Moscow, Manila and Tokyo. Then...eventually pared own further. Keep Istanbul/Cairo pair, as Cyclones can cross to either NY or Rio from these points. Tokyo, as Vic says...is an extra HOP. Ok with a few planes, not a big fleet. Did you finish your "table for BUX?"
It was easter weekend, a lot of people were busy with family stuff etc. I guess For example, I had to leave on saturday at 1pm for shopping, then first family meeting at my fathers side of the family, then drinking at my cousin, slept there, together we drove to family meeting #2 on sunday, back to drinking and eating the leftovers at my cousin and came home on monday 5pm Besides from being drunk most of the time, mobile internet reception is really, really bad at my cousin, so even when we were sobering up, no PP for me...let alone being active in the forums
To me, the best way to collect bux and be in the mofo rankings is to have 5-6 cyclones parked in a class 3 city far away from the event collecting only bux jobs. Then have a swarm of 30 or so kangaroo or mapple that follow the events. You deliver a lot of jobs and have high bux layovers coming in. If you get tired of scrolling just send the event planes and don't worry about the bux sitters. My fleet is 32 mapples and 8 Aeroeagles. I'm not that interested in collecting more bux but when I do I just put the aeros in a further off city and bring mostly bux jobs to my cities I'm flying the mapples out of. For this event I'm using Chicago and NY for my mapples.. If I wanted to collect bux I'd put the aeros in Tehran and just have them collect bux layovers. But 90% of the time I don't use layovers. I usually do between 5000-7000 jobs per event. As many as 10,508 before, and with all the 1-2 bux jobs I fly I usually collect around 400-550 bux per event plus the bux prize at the end of it. And that really add up quicker than you think.
Thanks for the advice, not sure if I can rid a couple of those cities such as mum/kar as I'm going to stick with seq m. Almost thought about killing everything but the furthest cities with 1 or 2 in between as mid points. As for the bux/coin chart I added it to the spreadsheet, but since I did it via google drive it needs to be edited and cleaned up.
Finally got to 10000 bux. Am now really itching to cash in and get a load of slots, if i've used the bux calculator properly I think I have enough cash from the cashed in bux and what I already have to get 10 more slots but part of me thinks to go for a little more before cashing up so I get more cash per bux, i'm thinking 15K. I know with more slots come more bux but I am thinking that staying with my current strategy is good for now and the amount of free time I have and it's not doing to bad at producing the goods. Also comparing this game to my new Android game is annoying and slightly frustrating with 6K and 22 bux (thats 22 not 22K) and 6 plane slots at the minute. I know part of the problem is my start area, I went for a challenge and picked Australia but I fancied doing something different with that game. Would be nice too to pass a few of my rubbish planes from my Iphone to the android where they would be useful.

Oops hadn't been on to the Mobage bit of the game, had just been playing the game. Will go on now and get that sorted, thanks Thanks for the planes, I can start getting rid of the one space rubbish that I am still using, although the Sequioa may have to wait for a bit till I have a few more bux and the cash to run it

If you need other planes just let me know By the way, this may be a dumb question, but I'm pretty sure since I play PP I only got the normal 30 minute shutdowns of airports, now I'm getting more and more 12H shutdowns...is this new or did I just have luck troughout the months I'm playing Shanghai is closed for 12H again within a few days...that's quite annoying
I'm new here. Could you please suggest where can I find the strategy/walkthrough/how to in this thread? There's so many pages here. I'm level 21 but seems to be loosing money than earning.
