Exactly. Sad that I just recently got my fleet going strong. Now it's all dieing off. The MOFOs have kept it alive a bit lately it Ive done EVERYTHING now. All the planes, I've joined the 10k club, been number 1 in the world, not just TA1 but the world. Not sure what else there is to do.
It depends on if you still like the game or not. If you do then you become one of the group leaders and remember what all the people like Vic, Faye, Gus and Merlion (to name a few) have done for you, and you do that for others. I'll be there soon and give you some competition. If not, i guess you will move on like some of the others. Eventually, if pocket trains does come out, we will make our way there...given it is as good as this game

You need to be able to get into the Arena, then hit "Change guild", then put "TouchArcade1" into the box.
Classic PP burnout It's not dying off imho, there's more a natural rotation of players. Don't worry, many of us have been here since the start (was it a year ago already?). You just can't do 5000+ jobs twice a week without feeling burnt out. Take a break, do or play sthg else, it will feel better to come back after that. Also, having 40+ slots and a lot of planes/Bux open more different strategies, you can experience, try the Merlion Blimp way, go all class 1, focus on the 12h events... The most important thing imho is that doing the global events shouldn't feel like a chore. I thought of doing a F1 championship like for TA1 a long time ago, and thanks to Merlion's dedication and hard and cunning work, it became the world famous MOFO's This competition is fun, but the point is not to feel like you HAVE to be in the top10 every week We all agree a new content update would help a lot though. It looks like NimbleBit (don't forget it's a 4 crew only) hasn't been focusing on PP lately. Maybe we should gather and discuss here a good list of ideas for a new update and submit them all at once, in a clean and sorted way. Many good ideas are buried deep into this thread, so they kind of are lost for busy guys. Let's make it happen! Long live TA1
Then go all class 3 for a change It's odd how in the end the most efficient strategy for global events is Gus's swarm with Mapples : having 100% Mapples fleet and only open 3 or 4 airports near the event city.
Yes sir. Currently I have 11 mapples in London, 11 in paris, and 10 in Istandbul. I can send 2 out of each airport each refresh. 24 jobs every 5 minutes... Haven't flown in almost 24 hours. Yet still in 2nd.
Thank you so much! I added myself to the MOFO list and will add you in Mobage. That account is more fun atm because the second time around I knew what to do from the start, strategy-wise. I'm raking in the bux for a huge expansion someday. That will be a fun "shopping trip" lol.
Mapples are only available on the Mac version of pocket planes. iOS users can get mapples via trading with those who have PP on Mac. Droid users can buy mapples straight from the market.

A quick question for the Android users, what level do you get Mapples. I have an android tablet and am thinking of starting a new game on there at some point. I will also be getting a new phone soon and I know it will be Android not an Iphone so i'll probably have loads more questions at that point. I'm hoping this forum isn't going to die. I will be playing for a long time yet on my Iphone as I try to finish all the 12hr events and tie up a load of loose ends. As Vic said it might be time for a new group of people to become the top posters on here as other people move on/take a break, although Merlion can you not go as I can't imagine anyone else having the patience to do the MOFO rankings
