That reminds me of my only noteworthy disappointment with this game so far. I wish I could connect Australia directly across the Pacific to Hawaii/US. Makes me wonder if it is a design choice by Nimblebit....and why?

Regardless, and with that said, I must admit that I am completely enthralled with PP and I think they knocked this one out of the park!

That thread someone linked to pages ago, which purportedly showed PP beginning development as trains makes me salivate as well.......

When New York goes down, it's time to hit the sack.

And Ohden: It's so it makes calculating distance vector between cities easier to manage. So they don't have to choose between two different distances between two cities. Makes a potential headache for Nimblebit go away fast, but also leaves some players disgruntled.

Yeah, but you have to a least do 5 jobs... I joined jayisgame fc before i found toucharcade and I dont think I will be changing, just seems like it would be cheating to switch over to the #1 spot. Maybe they will vhange how the global event works after seeing how the board community can hijack the leader board. Plus it would discourage other groups from starting their own fc

That's what I'm doing. One airline for the US, one for AUS-S Asia.

    Don't stalk me.
Are the exotic planes (starship, hot air balloon, huey, blimp, ect) event only planes or will they be unlocked through events (such as the p40 war hawk)? I'm only level 11 so I didn't know if you unlocked them in the higher levels.

Any tips on what to do now?

I have basically the US covered...

    Class 3
    Los Angeles
    New York
    Chicago

    Class 2
    San Francisco
    Seattle
    Phoenix
    Dallas

    Class 1
    Salt Lake City
    St. Louis

    How should I expand?

    1) Mexico and then into South America then once I get Rio I can probably make it across the Atlantic to Africa and build north and east from there.

    2) Start in Western Europe (UK, France, Spain) and build east.

    3) Start in Asia (Japan, China, Korea) and build west.

Also are Birchcraft planes able to go from New York to Spain?

Based on my experience (I basically have two airlines, one for USA, one for S Asia/AUS). The two airline approach causes people/cargo to pop up in, say, Tokyo and have a destination of Atlanta. Well, I definitely don't have a way to make that jump (yet). From Mexico/ S America, you can use layovers or your higher class planes and airports to transport across continents with ease.

Haven't figured that one out. I do earn it pretty fast though. Could be coins, miles, # of flights, or a combo of all 3... Wish I knew...

No, but they can go from Rio to Lagos or Recife to Lagos or the class 2 airport that starts with an A in Africa. Not by my iPad at the minute. That is a fully upgraded Birchcraft.

Best I can tell it's a 1 to 1 ratio with profit earned from a trip on cash only trips.

I haven't checked to see what happens if you run a negative profit or a trip with bux involved.

Edit: Not profit, but cash earned when landing, actually, so can run a negative profit route and still get the XP. Still checking on what difference bux makes.

Whats a good general strategy for this game? I'm only earning about 38k daily.. if what the counter says is true. Currently have 2 planes serving in Australia for the event. While my main fleet are located around nothern American

Ok I believe the equation for xp per flight is:

Cash value of cargo/passengers + value of # of bux of cargo/passengers

So if your cargo/passengers is worth $465 and you also have 1 bux worth of cargo/passengers = 965 xp.

Another example would be cargo/passengers worth $735 and 3 bux worth of cargo/passengers = 2239 xp.

    (Remember bux increase in value slightly as they increase in number 1 = $500, 2 = $1002, 3 = $1504, etc)
