So everyone has probably googled their own name, buthave you googled your profile name? I started and mine didn't really have anything. Then i googled gus172 and saw he plays or has played a lot of games. Googled my favorite French guy and he tweets a lot apparently, and then Merlion and it brings up a lot of references to the Merlion. And then...AND THEN I GOOGLED THE NAME FAYE VALENTINE...wow. Just wow. All this talk about baking cakes and...just wow. I had no idea. Now that is an autograph I DEFINITELY want.
No...as far as I understand it, you only see Mystery Parts when the 1st place prize is a full plane. I know...confusing with the different awards.
If i were a heavy hitter on TA, I would play really hard for TA and help give them an impossibly huge margin. In the final hours, I would jump ship and do 50 jobs for a different top ten team. Because it seems the crowd momentum of TA is impossible to stop, no matter what the top prize. I guess we'll never know if folks do that.
I'm sort of glad there are no mystery parts in this event so the C130 doesn't become to common. Now I have time to clear out all of the BUX jobs I have stored in Seoul/Beijing/Shanghai from sitting for Starship mystery parts.
Since this is a slow event, figured I'd take care of the Nome - Wellington achievement. Any tips on what plane to use & what route to take?
I went for the Kringle Kruiser for the fun of it and went Nome-Ketchikan-Bismark-Chicago-Goose Bay-Nuuk-Reykjavik-Belfast-Bucharest-Tehran-Delhi-Bangkok-Jakata-Darwin-Sydney-Wellington. I had Chicago, Tehran, Delhi and Bangkok already but there are smaller cheaper airports nearby that could be used instead
I plopped a 13-bux passenger on a blimp and sent him on his way. Be sure to pick up your Wellington jobs before you open the airports on your route.
Great advice! I found there's a "route planner" as part of the Pocket Planes Tools on The Rusty Snowman. Was able to play with different routes and different planes and compare results. Using the advantage of having San Francisco open...choosing to go a southern route. I'm taking into account the cost of opening airports and tried to find the least expensive Class 1 airports (when possible) to navigate. You can find this info on the Pocket Planes Wiki . Thinking... Sorry to change the subject folks but I know a few of us play clash of clans as well, there was a toucharcade and a toucharcade 2 well now there is a toucharcade courtesy of yours truely and lollipopz so if you play this game please join us if u don't get on it!!! Really addictive like PP
Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! The Little One was playing Pocket Planes, and due to some sloppy tapping, she somehow changed my Flight Crew from "toucharcade1" to "touch arcade1" (note the space) ... so all my progress disappeared and I'm a crew of one (hahaha) ... ranked #1001 globally with 24 jobs. LOL It's funny, and not. ... and another thing ... she doesn't want to close Boston cuz she likes sending my Sea Knights there. Like me, she also likes the sound those planes make.
@Perfect Trumpet - so tempting to switch clans...tough decision. It's like changing flight crews after others have been so generous and helpful...don't think I can, unless there's major upheaval or things get weird. @Faye - oh no! Thinking the little one needs her own Pocket Planes setup. Wouldn't it be nice if you could log in and switch users if need be? So funny to hear you mention the sound of the Sea Knights. I always play with my sound off...had to turn it on to hear them...cute.

I didn't notice the sounds for the longest time cuz I usually have sound turned off on my phone. The Little One likes to turn on sound for the games she plays. She has been playing a bunch of other games lately, not PP. She even plays the same games on my and my husband's phone LOL, like Dragonvale. I woke up this morning in the Top 5 so now I have a lot of catching up to do. LOL So true!
