Wow that's amazing! Goes to show that even moderately-sized fleets (27 in your case) can rack up huge numbers.

I have 22 Sequoias and 2 Cyclones feeding NY from all over the world, and 6 Aeroeagles delivering the jobs, and I'm fighting just to stay in the top 10!

Side note, check out my Aeroeagles' profit per hour!

You'd alreday have the 20 you need if those damn controls would appear more often, sitting on 8 engines+bodys atm

    That's impressive
I guess I'll have to feed more profitable jobs to mine ;)

    Congrats Penguin ;)

I'm also impressed by the entry point for the top 10 and the top 20. A lot of us have now very competitive fleets, either 100% focused on events or 40+ planes (or both :D)

I remember when back in the day I could throw a thousand jobs or so for a class 1 or 2 event and be in the top10.
Now that doesn't even get me in the top 20 lol.

Yeah I used 27 planes for the event. I have 40 slots but don't even have them filled right now. Waiting to get more mapples and AeroEagles.

I've put in nearly 3,000 jobs and not even in the top 10.

Good for the group but we still aren't even in the same ballpark as #toucharcade and good grief thats a lot of work to not even be in the top 10 :(

    I have 23 slots.

About 1/3rd of them are Level 1 planes, 1/4th are Level 2 planes and the rest are Level 3's to move things around

I don't understand how you do it. You had 2300 @ 1130 on the 21st and then 10000 ©1030 yesterday. 7700 in 35 hours equals like 225 an hour...every hour! When do you sleep, eat, etc. If you slept 8 hours, and factored in eating during that time, it climbs to like 275/hr for EVERY HOUR. The fact that you are using like 12 planes to wthe event city, makes it even worse. What gives?

Here's how ya do it. And I used 27 planes.

I flew almost constantly from 730 AM to 10 PM.

Each refresh I would keep my sequoias pumping lay overs to NY. I had 4 Aeroeagle in NY (all cities fully upgrade and advertising Boston. Only open cities are LA Chicago NY and Boston) Occasionally had to bux boost a Seqouia to NY (usually one was within 4 minutes which was the threshold for it taking only one bux to boost) to keep enough layovers. The Aeroeagles almost never hit the ground. That's 24 jobs every 3 minutes. Also had 12 mapples roundtripping it from Chicago... There were times when work didn't interrupt me too much I would do over 450 jobs per hour.

Which isn't too hard when you can do 24 jobs every 3 minutes. If you factor in the mapples 12 planes X 4 slots per planes. That 48 jobs every 16 minutes (Chicago to Ny and back at 180 mph) that's another 3 jobs per minute. So if I was 100% effective that's 11 jobs per minute. Or 660 per hour. I usually done 400-450 an hour. Due to not having enough layovers. Thought about opening Mexico City an putting 4-5 Seqouia in it but it made it where it was harder to fill planes out of LA. So I just kept it the same since I was doing plenty of jobs.

    Dear Nimblebit,

Would it be possible to send out more Starship Engines has Mystery Parts? I only ask because I've got seven Bodies and seven lots of Controls, but no Engines.

    Thank you,
    Becky.

Mind you, I am pretty pleased that I topped 1000 jobs for this event, easily making it my most successful event.

    Btw, nice job SuperPenguin :)
I guess you got your Device on a charger all the time?
I need to charge my battery through the day if I keep playing too much PP :(

Well I am unbelievably impressed...that is just a sic accomplishment! Gus' 10k was something, but to hit 10k with 27 planes, only 12 of which are going to the event city. Plus you had to do all the math to figure out how to make it all work. Hell all Gus had to do was fly 54 roos all to the event city. When Vic said you had to load the damn planes...he had no idea. :p

I even have a piece of paper that I kept track of it on that I wrote down how many jobs I needed to do to be on pace and whether I was ahead or behind.

I did the math on a central class 3 event. When I had 54 class 3 planes and more than 640 P/C slots. And my 10 regular class 3 airports.

I don't remember the exact numbers, but I was doing easily 600 jobs an hour when focusing on the game.
That means 20k for an event is doable. And if someone was crazy enough and had time to play all day, 25 to 30k also.
Risk is to finish insane though :D
And class 3 is way easier as you don't have to bother with layovers, I'm more amazed at the 10k for class 1

I think I could have done 10k in Al Fashir. It was almost equidistant from Cairo, Lagos and Kinshasa. I just put 9 mapples in each and round tripped them. I did 7600 jobs or so and didn't fly the last day. Spent Saturday on the golf course haha.

Golf course was the good option ;)

I don't have as much time to devote to PP anymore :(
But I compensate somewhat by having only fast and speed upgraded planes. So when I play it's highly effective number wise.
Not sure I can be a top 5 contender anymore though. This is very time intensive to fly the goddamned planes :D
    Maybe next time I'm homesick!

I still enjoy taking an hour at the beginning of the event to rearrange the fleet/airports layout, and to close shop/cleaning the layovers before the end.

Would any of you Android guys want a starship body and engine? I picked the game up on my phone now and really have no use for a starship body or engine at lvl 5 >.<

Mobage name is the same as the GC one listed

Since there are starship mystery parts aviable at the current event I highly doubt it ;)
I got one built, parts for 8 more and get 1 as prize when the event ends...and I use exactly 0 since they are so small :D

I sent you controls too so you can build a whole one once you got enough bux and start to collect rare planes.
I'll have a look what else I got you might be able to use and send it...I should have some kangaroos around I think.
