Thanks Bido! Yeah my second 10K. One class three and one class one Events. Though I am sure Oamoam will hit 10K for this one as well. He is probably in stealth mode for now but I will guess he will end up 3K or more ahead of me the way he flies. I am done for this one. Need a break...... Might throw a few here and there but dinner plans will slow me down a bit Happy flights everybody!
Hmm i'm sure i've seen posts on here before saying that upgrading the event airport helps. Ah well only wasted 3K to upgrade so not too fussed. Still not seeing many parts today and i've been advertising all day I've got a large mismatch of parts and was hoping to get a few more parts to sort this
Central US time. I believe it's GMT -6 or so. It's 9 at night my time. 5 hours until event ends. I'm not going to try to catch you.
Thanks for updating the spreadsheet for the Top 10 Faye! Did anyone else grab screen caps for other rankings?
So, would anyone have two Huey controls they'd be willing to donate? Managed to find 4 mystery parts total and of course it came out as 2x body and 2x engine.
I'll speak to this subject since no one else feels like touching it. I think bux boosting is garbage! What are you proving? You have taken the fun out of the competition. What the heck is the point of competition? It is to put my amount of planes against yours, my strategies against yours and may the best person win. For you oam and yitzc it is about who can outspend and where is the competition in that? To me it is a chicken s#!@$ way of trying to best everyone and their hard work by saying the only way you can compete with me is if you are willing to spend money. Deny it and you are liars because i know one of you spent 65000 2 or 3 events ago. Thanks for taking the fun out of this competition. As for the merlion rankings and such the purity and fun of it is gone as long as these clowns are here spending thousands to sit at the top.
Los Mofistas de Punta Arenas Buenos Dias, jovens y guapas. Today is Sunday, and we all know what that means: it's MOFO day! We're all gathered around the fireplace (aircon in Singapore) eagerly awaiting the results from the heroes and heroines that top the ole' charts. So without further ado, here are the results from faraway Punta Arenas, AKA El Pevek del Sur: 1st: Oamoam, with an astonishing, superhero grade 12,900 jobs; 2nd: Gus, with 10,623 and a second superhero result; 3rd: Mo Kheidr AKA Bido, completes the podium with 7,719. As usual, seven more have scored MOFO points: Penguin makes 4th with a still respectable 6,800 (this was Punta Fricking Arenas, after all); Blitzburg 5th with 4,145; Snowbird 6th, 3,947; Yitzc77 7th, 3,536; Faye 8th, 3,351; ZJZKim 9th, 2,944; and Vic eked out 10th with 792. Oamoam and Mo, the two new stars in the TA1 sky chart, have not disappointed. Oamoam cleared almost 13,000 jobs and is on record for aspiring to be the first to top 15,000. Gus held sway with a respectable second, with a number of jobs that until recently would've guaranteed a first place by a runway length. This has become a Champions' Game. Penguin too did his best to defend the 'old guard'. But the competition has become fierce. Penguin, now that you're done bux sitting we expect miracles from your new swarm The new guard makes its presence not only known with Oamoam's first place and Mo's 3rd; Blitzburg, Ubur blitz, Blitzkrieg or whatever he's known by, made 5th; Yitzc77 claimed 7th; and ZJZKim took 9th. This creates a funny situation: the new kids on the block took the odd places, and the old familiar faces occupy the even ones. Creepy... The above results are not only the ones for PA, but also the current standings in the 5th Silver Yoke, of which this was the first race. Since this is the second month of the 2nd Sequoia Cup, the standings differ from the Silver Yoke. Here they are (previous ones between brackets): 1st: Gus, 181 points (1st, 163); 2nd: Oamoam, 111 (3rd, 86); 3rd: Faye, 103 (2nd, 99); 4th: Penguin, 98 (4th, 86); 5th: Nalazoo, 83 (5th, 83); 6th: Tater, 67 (6th, 67); 7th: Lynsie, 45 (7th, 45); 8th: Jmac, 44 (8th, 44); 9th: Mo Kheidr, 40 (10th, 25); 10th: Snowbird, 33 (11th, 25). Gus holds 1st, Oamoam races up the charts to take 2nd. He's averaging 22 points per race over the last five events against Gus' 16. At this rate it'll take him 12 races to take first place from Gus. In other words, if Gus keeps this up, he'll take the second Sequoia Cup (Number1Ump took the first). Faye lost second place to Oamoam. The rest of the rankings show few changes, except for Mo Kheidr who climbs another place, to 9th. Snowbird stays close behind, which means the Top Ten is losing Jmac who was in 8th. Tater and Lynsie are still holding on to their 6th and 7th places, but at this rate they'll lose them soon to Mo's onslaught. Unless...? Time will tell. ZJZKim and Uburblitz are currently in 20th/21st but will appear in the Top Ten soon, if their promise holds; same for Yitzc77 if he keeps on trucking'. He's now in 25th. On to the Concorde League, the overall standings: 1st: Gus, 362 (1st, 344); 2nd: Faye, 334 (2nd, 330); 3rd: Ump, 277 (3rd, 277); 4th: Nokitano, 223 (4th, 223); 5th: Vic, 210 (5th, 209); 6th: Snowbird, 139 (6th, 131); 7th: Penguin, 128 (10th, 116); 8th: Copper, 122 (7th, 122); 9th: Castle, 118 (8th, 118); 10th: Coastcat, 117 (9th, 117). The new guard is on its way but up in the Top Ten it's still business as usual. The only change is Penguin's race to the top. He jumped three places to 7th and shook Castle off. If he puts his swarm to good use, 6th will soon be within reach. If he wants to wrestle 5th out of Vic's cold dead hands he'll have to work a bit harder - at the current rate, about 4-5 races. But Vic's not dead yet, as his PA result shows. Below the surface the newbies are looming. Oamoam sits in 12th with 111 points, from the last five races alone. That's going to be 5th or 6th before you know it. Mo Kheidr is in 25th with 40 points. We will see him break the surface soon as well. And Blitz & Kim? Who knows. They're now in 45th/46th... That's it, good people! See you again at the other side of Paddy's Day! Cheers, M.
