Last interim update for the 4th Sequoia Cup Interesting things going in the Silver Yoke / Sequoia Cup. Here's the latest, as per standings with 1 day 22 hours to go: In 1st place and Champion: Gus, who is unapproachable with 163 points if the event would end in this order. Faye, 97 points, and Penguin, 94, are fighting for 2nd and 3rd place. Faye is in 6th right now in the Manchester Mother's Day, and Penguin in 4th. Penguin only needs three points more to claim second place, since his victory in Al Fashr will place him above Faye with the same number of points. Will he succeed? And will Faye defend her position? Behind them Nalazoo is in 4th with 75 points, Oamoam who's sitting this one out, in 5th with 68. Tater right behind him with 67. Lynsie on 7th with 47 points, Jmac 8th with 44, Snowbird 9th 34. And on 10th Castle has fought himself back into the rankings, with 31 points. He isn't there yet. He will have to either maintain his 2nd place in Manchester, or drop to 3rd, in which case he'll finish with the same number of points as Robo, but with higher finishes, and will still be 10th. But Gus and Penguin are still capable of passing him. Penguin has a motive. He wants to beat Faye to 2nd. And Gus, you may be resting on your newly gained laurels, but the Concorde League beckons. Faye is just a little bit behind you (328 points vs 344), and powerful players are lurking in the distance. Every point counts! Keep your eyes peeled, folks. Cheers, M.
Wow...let me be the first to congratulate you since no one else has??? I would have earlier but have been in the process of switching phones. Don't think they like us Android users here...or everyone has you on ignore. Anyways, I have a feeling the leader boards are about to get alot uglier for our friends to look at, with you at 55, flysher bux sitting and me on my way. Blank leader boards for everyone!!!
I can understand one wanting more slots. Yet it would seem to me that the game would become more of a chore more than a fun way to waste time. Just trying to keep that many planes going would seem very hard/time consuming to do. Those with 40+ slots how easy is it to keep things going and not have the game become a "chore".
I'm bux sitting too, but no way for a month. Opening a bunch more airports and fully maxing them out really helped (I'm using flysher's strategy with mysterious' retell). I'm getting around 650-750 bux per sitting. I'm reloading 3x/day. Not taking any 1 dollar jobs and filling the plane to at least 8/10 bux jobs. Send me a pm if you want more, and please add me to your friends on mobage. Mobage id: thefantasyicon
Loading planes with the majority of the passengers and/or cargo bux passing customers. It's simple math...i can load 8 roos for an event repeatedly and work my butt off to stay in or crack the top 10...or i can run 50 planes.
Seems android users are taking the forum by storm. Can someone post a top 10 screeshot eveyonce in a while And Gus you arent soing a good job i am shocked
It means dedicating some of your planes as bux sitters which will be sitting in a city and only load bux jobs. Ideally you'll want big planes with an even P/C ratio for that (like Seq-Ms, I use Cyclone-Ms) sitting in (fully upgraded) class 3 cities. It's up to you how much such setups you use, the more cities the more bux jobs you can get per refresh. Every job refrehs you go trough your sitters and load them with bux jobs which appeared, until one (or more, ideally all) are full. What you do with full bux planes depends on the strategy you choose, but in the end you'll want to deliver those bux jobs of course and gather enough bux for your needs (buying/upgrading planes, exchaning them for coins to buy slots). Some strategies can be found here. The three most used seem to be: - Flying your sitters in a circle, 1 turn every time a sitter is full - using dual-hubs (like Londin/Paris or Seul/Shanghai) which swap sitters so you got the jobs as layovers, deliver them with your regular coin planes - using 1 central Bux-Hub (like Paris) where all sitters gather at one time, unload, load the bux jobs for their designated home city and fly back there
