Hey all, I've been lurking for a few days, trying to get the gist of the place. If you all don't mind who joins TA1, I'd love to help out. I won't be a huge contributor, but you've got a great community here. Forgive my noob questions, but there's just too many pages to read them all before posting. What's the deal with Mapple Pros? I've got an ok fleet of them, are they not available on all devices? I can't think of any other explanation for why anyone would use roos instead of Mapples. And if people want them, I'm plenty willing to trade for them. (I'm not rich enough yet to give them away, sorry. Bux are precious still. If it were possible to gift bux, I could just sell them for the For Sale price and be a middleman. Give me time and I'll make enough bux to give them out like popcorn.) Is it a problem if I'm on Android? Can gifts be given across devices? Again, sorry if this is common knowledge. Thanks in advance.
All I run are Mapples. I have 26 of them. They're the best class 1 plane by far. Unfortunately you can't trade with anyone that isn't on Android. And most people on here are on an iOS device.
Thinking about transitioning my fleet from mapples to sea knights... What does everyone else out there prefer?
You must play on a Mac. Mapples are not available on the ipad. From what I understand Mapples fly over 200mph right? Why would you do this, because the SK's carry one additional job?
No I play on an iPhone. I've trade for all of them. 5 for a concorde part once. 4 for a C130 to Merlion lol. Then I found a guy that shall remain nameless for his protection that give me mapples for sequoias.
SK are great for short distances events. Use 4 of them plus a Roo P to balance. The Bux boosting cost is only 1 Bux for a 10m round trip. I use a mix of Mapples and SKs for medium distances. I prefer Mapples for longer distances, for the speed and range matters For 5 Mapples how many SK you'd like?
Hi and welcome fellow Android player X10's are only aviable to buy from the Market in the Android and Mac versions of PocketPlanes, so since most people here are on iOS Devicec (iPhone,iPod,iPad) they are pretty rare for them While Android to iOS trade is not possible, Mac to iOS is as far as I understood (or syncing their Mac game to an iOS device and then trade...idk exactly), so there are some players around which will trade X10 parts on iOS...for quite high prices sometimes As vicsark already said, for short distance (like the current Event city and Mexico) Sea Knights are useful too as the speed difference isn't too much of an issue there. Even more important for me, they are cool Helicopters, which I prefer over planes
I switch between full blimps (30) operations to full Mapples (30), or half and half. A squadron of SKs is unheard of on TA1. I don't think a single squadron in the US Navy even has 30 SKs! More props to you!
How many Mapples would you trade for a full C 130 or a full Concord? I better put this question in the trading forum. Sorry.
When the Mapple first came out, it was only available to Mac users. Now that they've extended it to Androids, why not make it available to ALL users, including iPad/iPhone users?
