So I have been playing Pocket Planes for a while. Only started paying attention to the whole Flight Crew thing recently. Googled and found the #Toucharcade group like three days ago. So I have a few questions... What with TA and TA1? Is there a online ranking (with names) for the top 10 groups? Is the prize seriously just a hot air balloon? Got a little carried away trying to be number 1 within the group.

BS or not, I seriously suggest Bellpepper to consider TA1 membership. The big difference is that you see all your crew mates' progress and you can compete directly with them. Beats looking at empty lists with only some numbers in them! All you need to do is add a '1' to your crew name (assuming you're TouchArcade now), go to the TA1 spreadsheet (the SUCK. Don't ask), add your name, and start befriending all the GCs you find in there. Their names will pop up all around you (or behind you, if you pull that kind of numbers) and Bob's your uncle. Added bonus: you're top material for some serious MOFO rankings. There's the monthly Silver Yoke; the Quarterly Sequoia Cup, and the All-Time Concorde League. Prizes for all the winners, including extra MORONS handouts for many of the bux only events. Tell me, who could ask for more? Cheers, M.
Okay I have just reached level 37, and I originally added Dakar, and Pevek, and then it was clear that none of my planes could reach Pevek, so I added Reykjavik instead. I am beginning to wonder if I will get another 40 cities when I reach level 40.

Hey, if you want a bit of challenge, I suggest trying out TA1. Just be sure to wait after the end of the current event and you got your prize before switching. I posted about the difference between TouchArcade and TouchArcade1 crews a few weeks ago: The idea of TouchArcade1 crew is to regroup the most active players and forum members from TouchArcade crew. We exchanged our GC names so we have fully named leaderboards and keep tabs on current and past events. The global events get more competitive between us, and against other teams as we have to fight for 2nd place or even first one sometimes! As Merlion said, we are also doing a PP cup à la Formula 1. The challenge was not there with TA being always first by a 5 to 10 times margin because of the many members that just googled "first crew Pocket planes" and joined to get the first prize no matter what, doing the minimum jobs and not looking at this forum (I got no problem with that, I just found it was boring in the long run). We also try to help each other with parts and tips (look for "Resources" in the TA1 spreadsheet) So TouchArcade1 is designed for ppl wanting a bit more focus on social and competitive aspect from Pocket Planes. Everybody is welcomed to join in, but if someone doesn't want or have the time or is interested in this more social playground, it's best to stay with TouchArcade and get first prize easily I guess. I heard about the gender debate of Merlion but didn't know the results. And now there are more theories. Just googled "Merlion conspiracy theory young girl" Here are the results: 1. Anyway, Merlion .... the MOFO cup results only consider the top 10 contenders per global event? SOB, I can't get into the top 10 now. Too busy in real life to seriously play PP, plus just cannot compete with the full-time-no-sleep-no-life players. Once upon a time, I could burst into top 10 in one day's work. Thank you. TA1 sounds great. I knew something like it had to exist. Will join as soon as this spring break in Cancun ends. I started this event on my own, and lost all the jobs when I switched my group.
