TouchArcade1 is #1 crew for the first time
And TouchArcade is not #1 also for the first time ever in Pocket planes!

    Champagne everybody! :D
Congrats to all, big or small airline, every job did count. that was not an easy win.
They were almost 800 active crew members for TA for Pevek and only 60 for TA1!
    And we've beat them :)

    Congratulations TA1!!!!

What an incredible finish! I went to bed last night just barely ahead of Gus, expecting to wake up in the morning and be 100s of jobs behind him. Lo and behold, some little tadpole comes to join the leap frog game. I kept checking the global leader board and was amazed to see us closing the gap - after all...that's what really matters:D.

When hubby and I went for lunch, I quickly checked and we were just 2 jobs behind. By the time I got home & back in the pilot's seat, TA1 had pulled ahead by 125 jobs!:D I knew there would be those in the other flight crew feverishly working to bump us back out. So, BUX-boosting became the norm to get planes to their destination faster, back to refill faster and fling again.

I'm happy others were able to get final screenshots, as my leader board wouldn't populate with names.

I leave Friday morning for a weekend event that I'm working. If you don't see me...don't worry...I'll be back. ;)

Awesome work, TA1! Those are some amazing numbers for such a remote class 1 city. :D

So what strategy is everyone using for Cancun?

Will this event have mystery parts?

--EDIT-- Just saw my first mystery part.

    Congrats TA1 on #1 :D

I'm sorry I couldn't help last event, hadn't much time to play and was finalizing my first "big" Fleet expansion, got from 20 to 30 Slots :)

Now I should be able to help more at future Events, 10 more slots, switched my Bux strategy to Flysher's so I don't need extra bux delivery planes, I don't have to worry about flying with some coin loss as I got 22m leftover...and starting next week I'm unemployed, so even more time for PP

Now to find the sweet spot for Event job gatherers and deliverers, first try this event are 10 class 3 to collect them and 8 x10's + 2 Sea Knights to deliver :D

Great result from TA1, and to do it with less than 10% of there numbers too makes it even better. I think some credit has to go to Vic for his giveaway to all lower level members that has boosted the numbers. I have to admit that in the last couple of events before this I was only doing the bare minimum to get the prize and concentrating on my bux and cash collecting but that spurred me on to get more jobs for TA1.

One quick question if you bux boost an empty plane is it always just one bux or does the distance change the price

It changes slightly depending on the distance, for expample I just sent an empty bux sitter (Seq-M) from Paris via NY to Mexico, it is 3 Bux to boost it.

My planes still have people on them after they leave Cancun flying back to NY. Supposed to be empty coming back.

    Hmm...
