can you fly from west coast to asia? i know the map doesnt scroll over the pacific but im assuming a good plane can do it. right ?
I've been working on the air museum event for our flight crew and I just got the last mystery part needed to build a P-40 Warhawk. Maybe getting mystery parts for the specialized aircraft is the reward for continuously working on an event instead of just doing 5 and walking away. I'm presently ranked 48th. I got to 26th yesterday, but the work week has started.
Can someone atleast tell me where I can find jet planes? Any kind will do. And why do I lose money when I need to go to one airport to increase range?
You won't get access to jets until later. You don't have to stop at that one airport... After you tap that one, go ahead and tap your final destination, you'll pass right through for profit!
Maybe a tiny bit. But as long as you're in the green at your final landing spot, who cares? You may make less money because (IRL) it costs money to land at airports. You're paying a port fee, plus probably extra fuel for the extra takeoff.
I think thats just the cost of the flight. You get profit until you reach your destination. Also, What kind of planes do you unlock at level 10? I'm lv 9 now..can't wait for 10 I hope I can get some sort of plane that can transport transatlantic
In what universe? I paid ~$35K to set everything up with 3 airports, one involved in a sub event, many hours before I could have even opened Sydney as the other airport than Brisbane. In terms of qualifying for contributing, I could have quit several hours before I'd have even been started via your advice, and since I have no intention of remaining in Australia post-event, I just would have lost even more money.
Yes it does, the loss is due to fuel cost. Just make sure your fare is worth the trip. Hence why it isn't always profitable to go for the highest paying job.
The real reason is the distance is longer if you stop at a city instead of going straight to the destination. The longer the distance, the more gas spent, the less money made. That's why flying through the same two cities in different directions make different amounts of money. They may look the same distance, but one way (usually) will net you more money.
I'm not staying in AUS either, but I think I paid less than that for both airports. Also, I only had to put on one plane (2bux v. 4bux), and it was one with 2 slots so I got more bonus cash. /shrug
You didn't, it's roughly 26K for Sydney and 16K for Brisbane, and it was only 1 bux each to relocate my class 1 Bearclaw and Navigator. I checked all this stuff before I did what I did, I always know my numbers before I do things and Sydney was clearly not a good way to do it.
Why does everyone keep saying they're leaving australia? With Jakarta, and nearly the entire US, I'm averaging about $200k a day. Level 13, 11 planes, and 16 airports, and I'm making ~$750-1200 per run from Jakarta to Brisbane.
Be that as it may, I've made back more than that on the route. Sydney is a bigger port, so I'm never waiting around for Brisbane jobs like I was for the Calgary event. I've got a NAVIGATOR-M shuttling back and forth, and I make bonus on probably 80% of the trips (thanks to 2 capacity). Is there a way to relocate planes? Because every time I've put one in the hangar (and I only had Class 1 planes as of this morning), I've had to pay 2 bux to put it back in service.
