I'd rather work on my tan on Aberdeen Beach - and we're expecting to get up to 6C/43F tomorrow. I believe that Usain Bolt says he sticks to McDonald's when he's at events like the Olympics, simply because he knows what that's like, unlike the local food.
I think I've been doing my share, though its so hard to even try to keep up with you guys SeaKnight part please! Tyvm
Imagine there's no heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all da pplz living for today Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all da pplz living life in peace You, you may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll join us And the world will be as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all da pplz sharing all the world You, you may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll join us And the world will live as on
Think of your possessions I wonder if you laughed A swarm of Roos or Mapples A hangar full of craft Imagine all TA-ers sharing NimbleBit's world You, you may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll join us And the world will fly as one With apologies to John Lennon
1D 10H to go #17 732 slightynorth #18 688 ktc24 edit: my screenshot didn't show up shall try again...
And bet your ____ that as I still sit in that blank spot in the middle of your screen shot that I am feeling the heat on my backside! I'm liking everything about this event EXCEPT that this is the 6th time I've fully loaded 15 mapples, and only received credit for less than 40 jobs when it should have been 60 One thing to go as hard as possible and another entirely to not have 150or more jobs counted! ...@#$#@!
Interim MOFOs Thanks, Vic, for the screenshots! Now I can do an interim result. Should the Pevek event end now, standings for Month 4 are now as follows (standings after Al Fashr between brackets): 1st Place: Gus, 133 points (1st, 115) 2nd: Nalazoo, 78 (5th, 53) 3rd: Faye, 75 (2nd, 75) 4th: Penguin, 67 (4th, 59) 5th: Tater, 64 (3rd, 63) 6th: Jmac, 42 (6th, 42) 7th: Lynsie, 39 (7th, 39) 8th: Oamoam, 30 (10th, 18) 9th: RoboBoto, 28 (8th, 28) 10th: Nokitano, 25 (16th, 10) Strong showing by Gus, strategically defending his number 1 position. Nalazoo is on a roll, zooming past Faye, Tater and Penguin from 5th to 2nd. What a sprint! Faye drops from 2nd to 3rd, Penguin remains firmly in #4 position. He's taking a bit of a break after his world class Al Fashr performance, but keeps on trucking. We expect no less of him Further down the line we all should keep an eye on Oamoam. He (she? One becomes careful these days) was tipped after Al Fashr as a promising contender, and he's certainly living up to that! And finally Nokitano sends us a signal: "do not count me out!" Nokitano wasn't even mentioned after the Al Fashr result. My bad, Nokitano! I won't make that mistake again... While we're at it, why not take a sneak peek at the Concorde League? Here goes: 1st: Gus, 314 (2nd, 296) 2nd: Faye, 306 (1st, 306) 3rd: Ump, 277 (3rd, 277) 4th: Nokitano, 226 (4th, 211) 5th: Vic, 210 (5th, 208) 6th: Snowbird, 130 (6th, 130) 7th: Copper, 122 (7th, 122) 8th: Coastcat, 117 (8th, 117) 9th: Nalazoo, 107 (15th, 82) 10th: Castle, 100 (9th, 100) Exciting stuff going on here! Gus, as predicted, takes 1st place gently out of Faye's hands. The rest of the Top Ten isn't changed much by this. Except for 'Zoo, of course, who races into the Top Ten, kicking out North in the process, who drops to 12th. North, I can see you in there, somewhere in the Pevek top 20. Are you letting this happen? Penguin is nudging the Top Ten, in 11th with 97 points. C'mon, Penguin, two more places get you past Castle and into instant fame! And finally I call your attention to Oamoam. Currently residing in 26th, with 30 points. But not for long, mark my words... Anyway, this is an INTERIM result, mind you. It ain't over 'till the fat lady sings, folks! So keep going and airlift those beasties to faraway Pevek. Happy landings! And.... watch this space. Cheers, M.
