Wow...just wow that is some bs. Takes the fun out of playing the event knowing people can cheat!

I had a feeling that is what was going on. I predict that is what the guy(s) in 1st is doing.

I could be wrong but to do 1,000 jobs to a class one city in an hour is just absurd. IF IM WRONG JOIN THE FORUMS AND TELL ME!!!

e el Carmo Grande is the mystery person(people)at #1. He says as much about 4 or 5 pages ago when he states that he can't wait until the race heats up. Maybe if someone adds him in gc then the mystery will be gone and so will he.

Added that ID to GC. If he/she/it/they accept, I'll be sure and post a leaderboard screenshot for everyone to see.

So 2 or more dudes playing on the same account have a hard time beating you playing alone and getting 1st place in TA1 crews... lol
    I say let'em, who cares!
It only shows ( if they don't come forward) that they can't compete with us individually ;)
Don't let them get under your skin, just ignore the unnamed on the leaderboards;)
Look at the overall standings lol.
Its too bad Nimblewiki in 3rd has a 1/4th of our jobs.
maybe we'll need to split touchArcade1 again to have competition:D

Lol I'm loving it. It's annoying at times. But it's comical as well.

They're obviously from NimbleWiki, as their numbers have just tumbled.

But do you both play at the same time, on separate devices?

Oh how evil the masterminds at Nimblebit are...yet another Cairo closure due to fog. Are these just random closures generated by the program...or...is there someone twiddling a bit with a wicked laugh and evil glare?

Can't be all random. I've never seen a global event city close down. So they must be able to direct it.

Btw I'm trying to imagine the outcry when that would happen :D

    Cheers,

I am 17th currently.....wish I was first. Joined TA1 to be part of the underdog. I'll never be high in the ranks, just trying to help out!

I'm hoping for a remote event in alaska again.

I can't keep up with you guys anymore, my best showing was either 5th or 6th in Anchorage.

Damn, 1500 jobs on a class 1 event and not even in the top 10. Tough crowd here!

Wohoo, just got my first upside-down plane :D

Btw, any other Android player here got a huge increase in friend-requests on Mobage from PP players within the last days?
I got about 3-4 per day for 2 days now, from people I never saw here...didn't accept them all - so if you are active here too send me a Pm and I'll accept ;)

    MORONS and revised MOFOs

A little while back there were a couple of posts about reviving the NimbleBit MORONS contest. Since this is the second bux only event in a row, I think there's a good reason for doing that. We at TA1 don't like bux only :)

Somehow Sea Knights seem like the appropriate thing to do. I'm using them exclusively for delivering jobs in this event. I know, it's in the middle of the desert so what's a Sea Knight doing there, but it's a camouflaged helicopter so there ya go.

So here's my suggestion: full SK for the winner, and a random Sea Knight part for the rest of the Top Ten. I'll kick off by donating the full SK. Any takers (I mean, givers)?

Second, given what's happening, I'm considering a slight change in the MOFO rules. So far we've included unknowns in the rankings, which impacts the points of TA1 members ranked lower than those unknowns. The alternative is just to ignore them completely. So if for instance a known TA1-er finishes 2nd behind an unknown, we count the TA1-er as first place and he gets 25 points instead of 18.

The advantage of this rule change is twofold. First of all, newbies get a bit more chance of getting into the rankings. And secondly, the 'second generation' of top performers is not at a disadvantage any more vis a vis the ones that topped the first quarter, who didn't have high ranking unknowns to contend with.

Ladies and gentlemen of the audience, may I have your opinions please?

    Cheers,
    M.
