Many class 1 planes can cross the Atlantic by way of Reyavik-Nuuk-Goosebay. It's a little out of the way but the class 1's can still make a profit. This is what I did before I was able to buy class 2 planes. And I still do it now, as I find it satisfying to fly all my Rome event planes over to DC now.

Go ahead and add me if you'd like, just started hitting the special events hard not too long ago so I've only got a few parts . Just a quick question, there aren't any "mystery parts" in these events where only passengers are being delivered correct? Or am I just missing them? Thanks!! D
Gus is in 1st with 833 jobs and I am in 2nd with 795 jobs. I would screen shot it and post it but the home button on my phone is not working at the moment.
Even though passenger only I find myself tearing this like a "normal" event and delivering c/p to NYC and ferried down via Roos sk and mapple.
Note to self: just because you have 5.880.000 coins and slot 26 costs 5.879.000 doesn't mean you should buy it right away. Had to sell some crap parts to be able to fly anywhere. Oops.
HOLY SMOKES. What took me so long to try out this game? This is freaking fantastic! I'm about 2 days in and loving it. I just hit level 14. I'm sometimes a bit confused as to whether I should put money into a new city or a new plane... anyone have a general rule of thumb? Eg. 1:1 ratio of planes to cities or ??? Also, is it worth trying to complete events at this level? Or should I wait until I hit a higher level?
you should invest in cities now at your level, you should have about 6 class 3 airports and about 8-10 plane slots. That was my game play however 3 levels down. Now i am level 17 with 12 plane slots and 6 class 3 and 3 class 2 airports If you have the extra cash you should try to complete the events they only require a mere 50 jobs to be eligible. if you don't have have money (open airports) or bux (recommission planes) to spare then you could pass this event until you find one close to your operations. but i am sure people around here will help you if you asked politely for a plane for this event THANKS to DANOMAN for the Sequoia M I added everyone on the spreadsheet, about 8 to 10 names don't exist and anyone who didn't receive an invitation from M.Kheidr, your name isn't on the sheet or is spelled wrong
Right am awake again, only need just over 800 jobs to regain top spot! Got the advertising going again, it worked well yesterday but today it seems to be concentrating on Cargo May need to go shout at the advertising team

How can i get Mapples planes while not owning a Mac ? they should add an option so you can gift bux to someone that way i can send the needed bux to someone and getting back some parts in return Another quick question are the crews the same across platforms, i am thinking of starting to play on my android device using Mobage, but i would love to join TA1 from there
You'll have to trade with other players for other planes or parts. I could trade you a whole Mapple for Concorde controls, if you're interested .
I didn't think anything could be as addictive as Tiny Tower... There was me thinking that I was doing so well in the TA1 league, only to realise I was competing for #TouchArcade... Really should have read all 1300 posts in this thread first... However, with more than 2 days left, I'll switch - all be it a very wasted Sunday Have added myself to the spreadsheet. Only picked this game up on Friday and have not put it down since. Currently lvl 14. To see everyone on the leader board, do I need to add everyone's name from the TA1 spreadsheet to my GC account? You can get mapples by playing on mobage. The crew is the same only their are a lor more people on gamecenter (iPhone) & a lot less of us on android ( mobage). I personally could welcome you with a mapple and a seqouia m ...if you make the switch! THAT is how desperate we are for more android users.
Hi welcome to the forum guys. If your looking for friends go on the TA1 spreadsheet, look for a post from someone like Faye of Castlegate they have a link at the end of there posts. Also Faye has a link to a page with various stratagies layed out, some are really helpful You can play on the same crews you just can't gift planes to each other on different platforms. There are a few people on the crew from Android devices though You may as well stick with TouchArcade for the rest of this event, you lose any loads you have already delivered if you change. If you add the names on the spreadsheet then yes you see the names on your list too
