I think we will decide on augmenting the current global event with a MORONS giveaway as each event occurs. Some events, such as ones with a full plane & mystery parts, or rare Cyclone or C-130 parts, do not necessarily require running a MORONS giveaway. I like the idea of using the same plane/plane-parts per giveaway to keep things simple. Requests for prize donation would need to happen at the beginning of each event. Are you ok holding onto your spare planes/parts until needed?
I was wondering how people were going to know M/F. F here...LOL. I agree forgoing the whole gender thing.
To sweeten the prize for this event, I will be giving a huey part to the top finisher in the crew.. If at the end you wish for me to give it to the person below you simply ask and I will oblige. Good luck and happy flying.
I like the idea, Penguin! Maybe it will be an incentive that will get more people vying for that top spot and raise TA1 back to the #2 spot.
Good morning peeps! Just waking up here, sipping my coffee, and trying to catch up on posts here. I'm reminded of why I hate these Global Events taking place at class 2 cities near New York. The turn around time is so short that the frequent pause (or freezing up) I experience every time a plane lands screws up the flow of my gameplay. I also think that the advertising company is doing a real crappy job this time. Me too! I want to see everyone else too! We must also have a lot of new people in TA1 cuz I'm finding more blank spots as I move up the leader board. Please add me on GC so we can see each other. I'm sure we'll streamline everything after we've done a few more. Entering the prize contributions under the Notes column of the spreadsheet worked out great. There will be many more opportunities for a MORONS prize giveaway, so we don't have to do it every time. It'll probably be more motivational during Bux-only events. I'm usually off to a late start with these events. Rome ended at midnight my time, so I was off to bed shortly afterward. I usually don't do much on day 1, things pick up for me on day 2, and how much I do on day 3 depends on my interest (or whether I get side-tracked by another game ) Oh my, birches too? Does AgileTimothy still check this forum for suggestions? Because I'd like to suggest a form of ingame flight communication, so each crew has their own bulletin board, or "wall" if you prefer FB terms. They could adapt the bitbook toward this purpose or even a whole new feature. This could be used just for chatting or even announcing increw contests or organizing global event surges to make challenging other crews more strategic. Strategery according to W. Just something I think would add some depth to the flight crew world.
I've been doing the exact opposite in the last few events I reorganize my event fleet for the event immediately after the beginning, putting planes in and out of the hangar (9am sunday for me, kiddo is playing nicely in the bed besides me ) Then send a few round of planes as fast as possible, so I'm 1st for a few hours until US wakes up half sober And then, I'm bored for one day or two, send another few round of planes. And the last day, I clear the layovers in advance so I can rinse and repeat. I finish 10/20ish, good enough as I don't have a lot of playtime available right now
