Hi, has someone a plane spare that is able to get from London to Washington? I would like to participate in the actual event but i just started and cant afford more new airports in NA. gc name is niphr.
Hey good system. I get both the rush of winning something and the warm glow of giving. Congratulations to me!
unfortunately niphr, there is no class 1 or 2 plane that can go from london to dc, but a fully upgraded aeroeagle can go from madrid to Washington, or London through NY or Philadelphia. As it is only a class 2 airport, class 3 planes cannot land there. Hope this helps
Does anyone have a link to the rules for the morons contest? I'd like to make a sizable donation I think. Might as well share my collection
I have officially joined the TA1 crew. Add me on GC: KEVSTEVTRE I'm a level 26. Need the link to the spreadsheet?
@Squallid thank you for the offer. I've got two class 3 airports open so if you have an extra nice big class 3 plane I would appreciate it. mobage id souperbean Thanks again.
THIS EVENT IS A POS. I'm running almost all p planes big and small. I'm having to wait multiple refreshes just to fill an aero. The theory that the closer cities to the event city, completely is wrong...because ny and chi suck. Anyone got anything different for me to try? Advertising dc, parking in mex, ny, chi, lon, par, rio, sao, seoul, shang., and the. All are generating slower than bux jobs.
That crossed my mind. I brought 3 PearJet Ps out of my hangar and put them in fully upgraded Chicago and advertised DC and couldn't even get 5 jobs per refresh. That figured into my decision for sitting this one out.
Do you have to do the 50 jobs to get the team prize now. I thought you just had to do more than 5 if in a team and that would get you the prize, if so that would explain why I haven't recieved the Rome prize. I like to try and do 50 jobs even if I am not fully trying as I feel doing the bare minimum of 5 is a bit of a fraud. I thought i'd done 50 odd jobs but checked with a few mins left and was short and didn't have a plane in place to get the remaining jobs done.
Go to the "Flight Crew" portion of the menu, click on "Prizes" and look at the bottom an it will tell you how many jobs is required for prize eligibility.
I'm advertising DC and am getting more than enough jobs at NY and Chicago to keep my planes running. Am running 2 Kangas out of each one and fill them each everytime they land, with an Aeroeagle running jobs out of LA although that one does usually require a couple of refreshes to fill but no more than that. Add to it layovers coming in by Sequoia from europe and i'm getting more than enough jobs to play with
Thank YOU Merlion for all your hard work! Received! Thanks! One extra part sent back. I'm going to donate one to my kiddo who just started playing (what a great way to learn a little geography!) and I'll hang onto the other one for a future MORONS round Love it! Agree. Also admire alliteration. I always love your Flying Roo shots! Nice work Go to Menu > Flight Crew > Prizes. At the bottom of the page, it will say: Deliver [50] Jobs to Qualify for Prizes. Currently it reads 50 for this global event. It could change for the next global event however lately it has always been 50.
I knew that but I thought that figure was if you were doing it individually. If you were part of a team then I thought I had read on this forum previously that to qualify as part of a team you had to only do a minimum of 5 jobs as the team had done more than 50 jobs. Totally irrelavent now anyway as the only reason I didn't do it this time was a miscalculation on my part
